Today, my wife and I had a less than satisfactory experience with Dominion Electrical Supply. As customers, we had high expectations of receiving assistance and guidance, especially given that we were making a significant purchase of lighting fixtures for our new home. Unfortunately, we felt ignored and unwelcome from the moment we walked in. The lack of attention and assistance from the staff only added to our frustration.
It was disappointing to see the staff looking for anything else to do except help us out, and when we asked for specific lighting style guidance, a staff member was unhelpful and lacked knowledge in the area. Fortunately, we found a much better experience at Alexandria Lighting and Design. The staff was helpful, the showroom was nice, and we received all the assistance we needed. It's always refreshing to come across businesses that prioritize customer service, especially in an era where online sales and instant gratification are the norm.
Overall, our experience with Dominion Electrical Supply was disappointing, and we cannot recommend them. While we do not want to blame the poor experience on the hipster culture of Arlington, we do encourage others to seek out better options, such as Alexandria Lighting and Design.
