The problem, a waitress who doesn’t wash her hand with soap after using the bathroom and goes straight to the kitchen, and owner who doesn’t care about the situation. My family uses this restaurant frequently, especially for takeout orders. I happen to go there today with my husband for coffee. I needed to wash my hands before seating down. However, there was no water available from the faucet by the hand washing sink, which is right outside the bathroom.There was a bottle of soap next to the faucet though.They only have one bathroom and someone was inside. So, I waited outside for a while until it was vacated. A lady came out and she greeted me and went into the kitchen which is located right next to the bathroom. I went into the bathroom and try to wash my hands first. However, there was no soap inside the soap dispenser. So, I grabbed the bottle of hand soap which I saw at the hand washing sink outside of the bathroom. After I washed my hands I couldn’t find any napkins in the hand towel dispenser to dry my hands. I used tp to open the door. When I was heading to my seat I saw the same lady who used the bathroom before me seating at the register. I went to my husband and told him I would like to leave. However, I thought it will be better to give a friendly feedback back about the situation to the lady. I approached her and told her that both bathroom soap dispenser and napkin dispenser were out. She replied there is soap in the dispenser. And jumped to open the bathroom door to show me there’s soap in the soap dispenser. I was flabbergasted and told here there’s none. The owner was sitting by the bar . He chimed in to say the soap dispenser is broken. Then the lady spotted the soap bottle I grabbed from outside and said “there’s soap right there!!” I told her I put that one there earlier and that I grabbed it from outside. Anyway, my big question to her was this. How did you leave a bathroom without washing your hands with soap after using it????????? After all she’s in food service. To which the owner replied to me “don’t be stupid! There’s soap!!” I feel very sorry for all the food we ate from this place. Especially, with the unapologetic and enabling attitude of the owner who’s going to really care about the importance of personal hygiene in this place??? I don’t need to say more. As a customer, I would rate myself 0/5, The saying "customers are always right" doesn't always hold true. I mistakenly ate at the wrong restaurant, and an incident occurred. When I Googled the restaurant, Google directed me to the wrong location. After calling the restaurant, I informed the owner, who was incredibly sincere and went above and beyond to ensure my well-being. It was only later that I realized I had been at the wrong place.
