Totally botched Manicure!!! Paid for a (1 Hour) Spa Manicure only to have a 30 minute appointment. Stylist was late, didn't know what service she was suppose to do (had to ask me if it as a Spa or Express...) and had nothing ready (also had to wait for her to do). She filed my nails down to a nub and in some spots WAY TOO FAR into the cuticle/nail bed to the point where my fingers hurt 3 days later still. I would have said something when it first happened but the room was too dark to totally see the details of length and edges. I did let her know when it was hurting during the filing to where she did back off a little. When I asked her about the Gel compared to the regular polish, she did tell me the differences. But when I asked about the price difference she only said that it was only $2-3 more......FAILED to mention that it was PER FINGER! Manicure went from $30 to $48, only to have the gel start coming off within less than 24 hours later. In the end my finger nails are different lengths and filed so horribly that I will have to let them grow out to fix them. My fingers still hurt and after calling (had to leave a message) and asking for the manager to call me back, still no call back. I had to call my regular salon and told them that I had a Manicure Emergency just to get the gel off so it wouldn't damage my fingernails any further (which they were able to get me in same day to get removed, thank God!)

Read moreCame here for hair/makeup with the bridal party I was in. I only had my hair done and ended up doing my own makeup (broke college student). My hair stylist was amazing, I had two pictures of what I generally wanted as I am well aware my hair will not look exactly like the picture. She was super polite and walked me through what she was doing to my hair/why and offering suggestions on things she through would help achieve my desired look given my hair type/length.
I was extremely satasified with my hair and it held up well, I received lots of complements as well as I have lot of extra bobby pins for my hair!
As for doing my own makeup, a few in our bridal party did their own and they were kind enough to let us use the empty stations so we could get our faces to perfection. The lighting was really good too!
The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is because I asked a stylist to help me glue on a pair of false lashes that I had brought myself since my hands were shaky. I knew they would still charge me for the help but they charged me the full $15 which is the cost for them to use their store lashes and apply them. I had my own lashes and glue and was kind of hoping they would only charge $10 maybe but that’s me being excessively picky and I understand they are a business.

I had Jamie P as a stylish and it was the worset. My hair came out but my scalp didn't she was in a rush to go home because it was past her time she left at 2pm and it was after that. she left my hair wet when I lift. And in this weather I don't see why. And others have always dried it fully. My scalp hurts when I move it from where she roughly combed it washed it try blow drying it with her fingertips. In at the end was the worset I could feel her fingers hitting into my scalp. I really like the shop the first time I came in. I felt like I could belong and it was a welcoming place. I am from out of state so it was wonderful for me. I felt like it was worth the money but this time I can't it hurts and I'm not a complainer I don't complain about my food or most things. But she was rude not social I pushed for conversation and I would even go as far to say there was a lot of awkward moments. I hate doing this complaining about pleople she seems like a wonderful person but this is bad. I'm sorry you made a wonderful business and I just can't be part of it anymore.
