Happy Place — Local services in Alexandria

I’m a bit blown away by yesterday’s visit. I’m Comming on here to hopefully reduce pricing and give you all another shot. Yesterday I came in and my daughter picked out 3 small keychains that you honestly can get at five below. However it was the closest store for us to check out. For 3 small keychains I went to check out thinking okay maybe like $ 10 total. I see her checking me out and it comes out to $52.00 or $53.00. I said huh? She explained the total again. And I said no thanks I’ll go somewhere else. I told her I could get so much stuff for that price are you kidding me? Even the cashier was like no trust me I understand. For your employees to understand that price was outrageous goes to show something needs to change. And those keychains as well! That was just outrageous. Never have I ever been told $50 bucks for 3 small keychains. Please please change your pricing. I see you state you try to make things affordable but please understand there’s nothing affordable in this store. It’s a kids store. Kids use these for like a couple weeks then boom it ends up on the floor. Like can we think about that for a second. I see so much cute stuff but nothing in there is ever affordable. Please please make you’re stuff affordable. I also have heard customers when I was walking out like wow that place is really expensive. I heard another woman with her child ask me that all costed you $50.00 I was like yes. She said that’s outrageous. She even told me she loves the beauty of the place but will not be back due...

First I want to start off by saying I absolutely love your store in Alexandria, VA. The store is unique and a girly girls store. I’ve been a customer there for about two years now and I’ve never had any complaints. However, I visited the store yesterday and I received a very snarky comment from one of the team members and I didn’t appreciate it at all. It was completely unnecessary. I asked about a shirt that didn’t have a tag on it and noticed the same shirts that was priced tagged had different price tags when compared. One shirt was showing a higher price than the other and they were the exact same shirt. In stead of giving me the shirt that was tagged the team member said it doesn’t matter and gives me the shirt that is not tagged. I then asked about the price of the same shirt but for a toddler and she then goes and says well I don’t make the prices my boss does, as if I had an issue. I was only asking because I saw multiple price tags on the same top and it was only a $2 price difference for my toddler. What a cute and girly store I discovered in Old Town last night. With family visiting and with little girls it seemed like the perfect place to shop. Merchandise is beautiful and lovely to look at. However, both of the teenage sales girls were incredibly rude and the opposite of happy, they couldnt even hide it. We heard them talking about us on their earpieces about the “family with kids”. The big girl in the back pretended to stock the shelves and left a customer waiting for 5 min until his wife had to find her to ring them up. I was right behind them waiting to purchase and she immediately went to hide in the back. My family from the west coast is not accustomed to such rudeness and I was very embarrassed.
