Golden Corral Buffet & Grill — Restaurant in Alexandria

NOTE TO PUBLIC‼️DO NOT EAT HERE‼️. They sometimes serve raw food. My family eats here and spend alot of money. I told they need to stop eating here. She bit into a raw shrimp. COMPLETLY RAW. Just the batter was cooked. My mom got sick after eating soured mash potatoes. She kept saying it didn't taste right. There has been FLIES in dinner rolls. RATS running through the restaurant under customers feet. German Roaches crawling on the bathroom walls. Gnat ad rat traps everywhere where the customers drinks are made just gross then there is still gnats flying everywhere, black mold under the drink machine🤮. I know this because I worked here. It really bothers me that none of the dishes are clean the cups are always dirty plates always dirty. Silverware always dirty. I would have to rewash cups bc I couldn't serve my customers drinks in a dirty cup. The assistant General Manger was scrambling and asking me to help her hurry and fix everything right because the audit people were walking in to inspect the restaurant. AOTHER NOTE TO PUBLIC‼️DO NOT WORK HERE‼️ The managers will discuss employees in the middle of the walk way airing their business out infront of the customers.(Illegal). I've been working here for 8 months only called in ONCE in 8 months only been late twice. Anytime I would bring a concern to the managers they brushed me off. Nothing was ever taking care of. You will work every holiday they do not give breaks(which is also illegal) when you ask they sometimes deny workers. One server quit because she ask to take a break to eat something because her stomach was so empty she started feeling sick. She was denied a break. When you another server asked for help the male manger with the long ponytail yelled in her face. Iv been yelled at for asking to go home bc I wasn't feeling good and had a fever.( anyone with a fever should be automatically sent home). You are not a person to them but just another number. I'm not disgruntled but I am very concerned especially with the uncooked food, unclean dishes, and the insects and rodents. Don't bother calling corporate because they...

I really enjoy my food it depends on what you choose . My sister on one hand always gets the fried fish and for some reason she gets sick . I don't know why but we've decided not to eat there ..my sister has been a manager of Golden Carrol in Jacksonville and in Longview Tx.nso she knows all about the food and how to make sure everyone enjoys their foods they eat .she waa an excellent manager. She made sure everyone was satisfied with their Meals they purchased . But Everytime she would come to this one the food she would eat would make her sick . I don't know if it's the fried fish or the crab salad , She eats them both .I enjoy coming there I like the server we get and he is very polite and helpful .we enjoy his hospitality he gives us. You should give that young man a raise for the excellent work he gives to all his customers. but the fish and crab salad is my main concern you either have to throw away the fried fish before serving another order or replacing a fresh batch because she gets food poisoning Everytime .of its doing it to her no telling what's it's doing to others as well and their afraid to say something to you . So I'm wanting to see your review scores go up so the owner of the franchise will have good report of his restaurant .I'm letting you know that so others will come and enjoy the foods you provide . I've worked in the ones in Texas myself . WORST experience I've had!! I will not go back to the Alexandria location! We went here for my 9 y/o daughters birthday because all she wanted was some steak! I called beforehand (hour or so) to confirm that they had steak on the menu. I was told yes absolutely! So we went for dinner. We get there, the lady who was taking our money was rude to begin with. Then we get our table. We go up and we go straight to the grill to ask when they'd be doing the steak because they were kinda just standing there talking doing nothing. We're told they have to go check to see if they even have any... So we go and get different food. Out of all the food there, the broccoli and the baked chicken were the only DECENT things we could eat..... We got ham from the grill, it was COLD... When going back for another slice of ham, I asked the guy if the ham was hot this time or at least warm, (with a glove on obviously) he slaps his hand down on the ham with an attitude and is like "Yep"... And very rude. My daughter went to eat her ham but when she picked it up, it had black stuff on it like it had been dropped on the floor or something. The salad bar tasted weird, the only desert items that were decent was the ice cream (I'm not sure how you could mess that up) and my daughter liked the cookies..... We asked for the manager because this whole experience was just horrible and we barely got to eat anything.... When we explained to her everything that had happened, she apologized and said she would address it in the future to the staff and started trying to crack jokes about everything.....
