I did not attend here and won’t be. The respiratory care program is $51,000. It’s a 20 month program which really isn’t that much faster than other programs that are laughable cheaper, like 20-40k cheaper. The time you’re saving especially if you have at least a few of some local school’s needed gen ed credits, is not, IMO, worth paying that much more. I highly recommend people look at what those payments will look like after school. Also my interactions with employees has been less than impressive. Nicole is argumentative and not very helpful. Abraham answered my questions, but with an undertone of attitude, not warm or welcoming in anyway. Nicole pressured me to come in several times and didn’t seem like she wanted to give me much information, stating that I could take a tour of the school to see if it would be a good fit for me, etc. This is a mid career change for me, what’s matters is the quality of education I’ll get, my financial aid options, and the class schedule as I am a working adult. I do not need to drive an hour to see the campus or be pressured into anything. This is obviously a sales tactic- most realize this so let’s not pretend it’s much else. Also, check out Reddit, Platt does not have a very good reputation compared to several other schools in the area when it comes to clinical sites and/or employers after graduating or for preparing students.
Many students are complaining that they are teaching themselves the material, which seems to be the case with most schools. However, I’m not going to pay a 50 K price tag when I can pay community college prices to teach myself and spend a few more months in school. Good...
Read moreDO NOT GO HERE!!! This school is completely unprofessional in every way shape and form! All the people workig there seem like they would rather be some where else. And a lot of people quit without any warning and leave you to figure out everything on your own. I do not feel that I will be able to get a job after having gone to this school! I feel I should have learned a lot more and been held accountable for knowing all the information. I went here for the DMS program and I should have known it would be like that after just the admissions process. I lost count of how many times I called and emailed to try to get information about enrolling. Even my mom tried because I thought maybe they just weren't taking me seriously because I was young. Then when I was finally in, it turns out they had enrolled to many students so I had to wait another 2 months to start. The only reason I even decided to continue was because it was accredited (which its not anymore!). Through out my time there I delt with unprofessional clinical coordinators and program directors. It took them 2 months to find me a clinical site when I was told that they would provide everyone with sites! Due to that I shouldn't have graduated on time but I worked my butt off to make up all the missing hours and managed to finish by my original graduation date. Now it has been almost 2 weeks and I still have not received my transcripts, letter of completion, or diploma, all of which you need to take your state tests. We were supposed to be able to take our state tests as soon as we graduated and I am still not...

This school is the biggest waste of time! Go to a JC, UC, ETC; but do not throw away your money with this abominable trap. Their recruitment can almost be described as predatory. They reel students in, drain their FASFA, and spit them out. It's extremely difficult for me to not employ more candor while expressing my disdain for this vexatious experience. The ONLY reason this review isn't in all caps and filled to the brim with profanity is because I want no misinterpretations, nor filtering, of my disdain for them. You'll be forced to take the most remedial pre-reqs ever (2nd grade math, English for Spanish speakers, Lima-bean & "dye the celery stock" Science); while paying almost top dollar. The Art program's teachers looked like hostages or parolees. There is NO real job assistance, as implied by your lovely vampiric admissions department. If you require any additional information from them, after culmination, they will treat you like an angry ex that has your car keys. Most importantly... Their Accreditation means as much as a bag of packaging peanuts. Real colleges will not let you transfer these faux degrees/credits. If you attend this college you should have an immense amount of disposable income and...
