Went here for the first time at the Alliance Skechers Outlet store on June 16, 2021 around 8:30pm. I own a pair of Skechers (purchased from the Skechers Outlet store in Canton earlier this year) and liked the shoes a lot so I wanted to buy a second pair. When I purchased the pair of Skechers that I bought at the Canton Skechers Outlet store at the time, I had a good experience with the courteous and helpful lady employee who helped me out with finding the shoe that I was looking for. Unfortunately, I did not have the same pleasant experience at the Alliance Skechers Outlet store. I had my cellphone in my hand with a picture of the Skechers shoe box so I knew what to look for as I was in the store. I'm thinking I was the ONLY customer in the store as I believe there were two women employees working there. I didn't even get a welcome, "may I help you", or any other greeting or any offer of assistance. I did find what I was looking for and I was ready to buy a $60 pair of shoes. I looked at one of the employees I think at least twice and she just looked at me with NO offer to help me. I got to the point where I walked to the middle/back of the store and dropped the shoes that I was about to purchase on the floor (away from where they go on the shelf). I was wondering if I was being watched as if I would steel the shoes. If that may be the case, would a person holding a cellphone and drive a somewhat newer vehicle steel a pair of shoes? Use you head. Anyways the Skechers Outlet store in Alliance lost a $60 sale. It may not be much to them but I won't be back as I will take my...
Read moreI purchased a pair of shoes on 5/11/25 and after taking them home and trying them on again, I decided to return them. So the following week, I brought the unworn shoes along with my original receipt back to the same store and was told that that, because I paid in cash, I would only be able to receive store credit. When I questioned this and stated the return policy on the website ( all unworn items can be returned within 45 days with receipt for full refund, in the same method of payment) the cashier stated that his hands were tied, and he would have to give me a gift card because he could not refund cash back. After arguing back and forth for a few minutes, he finally refunded me my money back onto my debit card. He didn't have to call anybody over, so his hands were certainly not tied, like he said they were. Because of this exchange, I will never go back to that store again. Not only was what he was he telling me against store policy, but he also lied when he said there was nothing he could do because he ended up refunding me with no issues once he seen I wasn't going to take the gift card and was willing to escalate it. Poor...
Read moreTerrible customer service. The two "salespersons" couldn't be bothered to stop their personal conversation long enough to even offer to help me and I was the only customer in the store. I had to laugh when I read the other 1 star rating on here because I felt the exact same way and was ignored the exact same way. I had my phone in hand with my rewards coupon already pulled up and ready. I came to buy at least 2 pairs of shoes for my husband. That was an easy $120+ sale you threw away. Had they been paying the slightest attention they'd have realized I wasn't finding exactly what I was looking for. I wonder how many other customers get completely ignored and leave without buying. When I was turning to leave the women barely even glanced over but they looked shocked when I spoke up and thanked them for "the help." I...
