We have been looking for a king sized bed that was reasonably priced for about a year now. The first thing I noticed walking in the door was the sign that says free delivery for 599 or above. I knew I would be buying a mattress for over that price so I knew that free delivery would be a big perk to the deal. We live in Alliance and had thought about going to a few stores in Canton but knew the delivery fee for a King Sized bed would be a lot. Plus, I liked to support businesses in this area. This store is smaller but has a nice selection of mattresses. I had never been in the store before and thought that it was well managed plus very clean. The restrooms were also very clean. When started looking around we weren’t bombarded at the door by a salesman, which was nice. I was nervous I would be scammed into buying something outrageously expensive while trying to make excuses to get back out the door. It wasn’t like that in this store, once we made our way up to the front a gentleman named Mark has approached us and gave us more information. He was very knowledgeable, assessed what we liked in a mattress, asked how we slept so he knew if we would like a firm/plush, and he was not pushy with the sale. Once, he showed us what he thought would work best for our sleeping habits and price range it was like magic when I laid on it to test it out. He did a good job knowing what would work for us. I didn’t want to spend anything over 1000 dollars and ended up buying a king sized bed for 900 including the box springs/frame plus delivery. I thought that was pretty great for a King. The checkout process wasn’t hard either, it was easy and quick. Delivery will happen the next day if it’s not a Tuesday or Wednesday and they will set it up for the customer. You can also have a bed removed for $19.99. Buying our first expensive bed, this was a really pleasant experience. Mark was a great salesman, very kind and knowledgeable. I went in to the Alliance store just to see what was available, figuring I would lay on some mattresses, be unable to figure out what I needed and wouldn't really get any advise from any employee on what would be good for me because that's the experience I've always had. But Dianna Goodrich greeted me at the door, asked questions about what I was looking for and even picked the best pillow for me to try with the mattresses she thought might help my back and hip issues. She showed me 4 mattresses, explaining the details of each one and gave me as much time as I needed to try them out. I bought the medium Tranquility mattress AND the pillow she had chosen. I expected to have to give the mattress some time before it really felt good but I slept for 10 hours the very first night!! I haven't slept more than 3 hours at a time for years. I wish I could give 10 stars. I bought a bed and mattress from Sleep Outfitters for my 85 year-old father. The mattress started having issues and my dad could not sleep comfortably so I contacted Tempur-pedic. They felt that there wasn’t enough of a sag to honor their warranty and essentially told me they didn’t care about my Dad. So Sleep Outfitters in Alliance, Ohio helped me get a more comfortable mattress. Sleep Outfitters found a more comfortable mattress, let me exchange the old one and even helped me refinance everything for a longer period of time. I had just had surgery and they even came to my door in Columbus to help me fill out the proper paperwork.
