Called the Alliance Ohio store today 06/28/25 to see if they had any Large Harvest Right freeze dryers in stock. We were told yes, so my husband and I drove an hour to get a freeze dryer. When got there Tom (the Supervisor) and James a cashier helped us out. Before paying my husband asked James this is for a large freeze dryer right? He said yes, so we paid and headed to the car. I immediately noticed the price was not the same as what I saw online but thought maybe it was different from the online price. Then my husband and I noticed the freeze dryer was not very securely packed in the box but didn't think about as we needed out of the box to fit in the vehicle. Tom and James tried to fit it in the vehicle with the box and it wouldn't fit. This was at 5:12 pm... It's in & we head out of the parking lot and I tell my husband something isn't right. We stopped in the parking lot and looked up the item number. It was in fact a medium freeze dryer and not only that it had a big dent on it. (Don't know when it happened) We immediately pull into a parking spot and talked to LoriBeth to return it. She was super nice and helped us. While we were waiting Tom(the supervisor) came up and said now this was not there when we put it in the car. My husband explained that it was, we just noticed it. Tom very rudely argued with us and when we didn't back down, he walked away saying something that I assume wasn't nice. He had the right to ask but could of been more respectful. Anyways Poor LoriBeth said she needed a supervisors credentials to finish the return which he had just walked off so we stood there for a good 10-15 minutes. Another employee assuming supervisor (Justin) walked in and LoriBeth asked if he could help, he immediately said NOPE! and walked away. Again still waiting. LoriBeth asked for a manager AGAIN and Tom shows up and asks him for his credentials and he plain out says NOPE and walks outside of the store. STILL WAITING PATIENTLY. Finally Justin comes up and shouts alright now what, I'd like to get shit done today and gives us his credentials. Then Tom comes in and stands at the counter and says to LoriBeth, Oh you wanted my numbers. You should of asked for my numbers I don't know what credentials are? Seriously? This is all in front of other customers by the way. We finally got our refund at 5:40 pm, which we are thankful for but the disrespect and rudeness was not needed. Never have I experienced this type of unprofessionalism before. The store was a mess and we felt so bad for LoriBeth but she did an awesome job handling the shit...

BOTH wash tub hoses were broke sprayed water all over us when we turned them on both looked like they had half ass fix attempted with cheap tape on them. They don't both break at the same time ! We were Unable to use either wash station. No excuse when all things needed to fix the hose fitting and sprayer are carried in the store. Read moreI'm appalled by one of the store members. I went in shortly before Christmas and we had a horrible artic blast coming in. I have a stray cat that claimed my house as his home. As I started to explain why I was there and making sure I was picking the right things to make this poor cat have a warm shelter I was greated with "a 22 will take care of that for you!" Meaning for those that may not know, that means a 22 rifle and shoot the cat. For a store employee to say that to a customer looking to spend money to help an animal is disappointing...
