Oh my I've finally found the salon for me! I have been searching for a few years for a hairdresser who gets my thick curly hair since we moved down south. I gave Arianna a try as she was highly recommended by the owner and sure enough she got it right! When I really noticed was when I straightened my hair and saw the perfect cut! What a beautiful cut, salon, and service! I sadly had to go from a 5 to a 4 star because of the past 2 services I received. In June of 2020 I got a keratin treatment, i came out of the salon looking fab, but 2 weeks later my husband mentioned how my hair looked exactly the same as before the keratin and I know what he meant. I used to come out of the shower with great waves when I received keratin treatments instead of my normal curls but the keratin must not have taken to my hair this time or the type of keratin was not right for me which happens sometimes, so I called and spoke to Arianna to get her advice. She suggested the agave treatment so I went and got that one, she said it is stronger without the formaldehyde, as she was doing it she mentioned it lasts 6-8 months, i asked if she meant weeks, she said no, months, so I was very excited even though I had just basically lost over $300 plus tip on the keratin but I quickly forgot about that for the time being. I paid about $380 plus tip for the agave. This time the agave lasted about a week, I washed my hair and my hair was frizzy, curly as always, nothing different. I had bought agave products recommended and that is all i used. Unfortunately we were in the process of moving and never called to speak to Arianna about the issue, I just let it go which I should not have. I don't mind spending money on anything if it's worth it but I spent almost $1000 on both treatments, product, and tip altogether. I am not complaining about Arianna because she is AMAZING and love her hair cuts and style, I am just writing this as a heads up on these products. I have gotten keratins for years and all worked very well, but in the past i was asked what type i usually use and that is what the salons used on me. It had to have been this particular brand and the agave treatment, not sure what that was, it felt like a deep conditioning treatment that lasted the week. I still gave it a 4 star because the salon, the people and my hair services before these two treatments were top notch. I am very dissapointed, hope this will help in...
Read moreMy first visit to Borrelli's Salon was because there was a possibility through treatment I would lose my hair. A friend did some research and suggested Borrelli's. I visited the "Illuminations" portion of their salon where I had the privilege of meeting Julie the Illuminations Specialist. There could not have been a more calming appointment for me as Julie sweetly walked through options and what I might expect should I indeed lose my hair. She made me feel comfortable and that I wouldn't be alone in figuring out next steps. It turned out I did not need to pursue further with Julie (Illuminations Specialist), but there is no hesitation in me to recommend a consultation with Julie should you be facing changes in your hair. It was her treatment and care of me that had me remain at the Borrelli's Salon and I have been privileged in the last year+ to have Jamie as my stylist. She's a kind and encouraging stylist, and with that, I also believe any stylist would be the same. Early on I picked up this feeling at Borrelli's that the stylists are a team - they're family to one another. This atmosphere surely has to begin with the Management and filters all the way down to the client. The salon is set up to be a calm place to come and rest during your hair appointment. From check-in to check-out there is not a rush and no stylists are busy chatting with one another forgetting you're in the chair. I'm their guest as a client and I feel that way every time I visit. I would wholeheartedly recommend giving Borrelli's Salon a try if you're looking to change stylists, need assistance with changes to your hair you hadn't expected, or just want to enjoy your salon visit and leave...
Read moreAmy W at Borrelli's salon is my go-to. I've been going to her for all of my hair cuts, styles, highlights & coloring for years.
I'm 58 years old and my hair isn't what it used to be as I've aged. But Amy always helps me look youthful and beautiful whenever my hair needs just a refresh or an entire new look.
She's very attentive to my inquiries and never tries to sell me into something I'm not looking for, but has made wonderful recommendations as far as hair products and hair care. She is acutely knowledgeable about treatments.
I look forward to going for my appointments, not only for my hair, but she's also fun to talk to and a good listener. "Hair therapy," if you will. We have fun! She likes to take pictures of her work and shares it, only with her clients' permission. She knows when she has done a great job and her clients are happy. I'm always that person.
The best part is that I always walk away feeling like a million bucks. And I've gone to her for all sorts of cuts, coloring and styles because I like to change it up. I always feel like I get exactly what I was looking for. Never a disappointment! I'm willing to make the 40 minute drive to Alpharetta. And I always get compliments after an appointment with Amy.
Also, staff is always...
