I usually am a patron of a different location and enjoy the food, service and atmosphere there so I expected that I would have a similar experience at the Alpharetta location. I was wrong. When we walked in the hostess was pleasant and greeted as well as seated us promptly. It was our waitress, I believe her name was Patricia as that is what was printed on our receipt, came over. She didn’t greet us which is fine. We put in our drink and appetizer order as well as my child’s ramen order while one of our party went to the bathroom. Once she returned from the bathroom Patricia took the rest of our order. We called Patricia over because we were worried that our ramen orders might come out wrong and we wanted to confirm that she put it in correctly. She repeated our order back and said she would go check to ensure accuracy. A short wait later we received my child’s ramen, drinks and appetizers. They were dropped off by a male server instead of our waitress, Patricia. We noticed immediately that we had been brought the incorrect appetizer so we waited for Patricia to return to send it back and to request a fork for my child to use. After ten minutes and no Patricia we flagged down a male server who was walking by and he grabbed a fork for us. I then made eye contact with Patricia who was standing by the ramen bar with two other servers, one male and one female, laughing and talking. I raised my hand and signaled for her to come over and she held up a finger and continued her conversation. After five minutes I got up to bring the incorrect appetizer to her and as I walked over she walked past me without acknowledging me and continued on to my table. I was left to explained to the two servers still standing there that I had received the wrong food. I returned to the table. We inform her that one of our ramen orders wasn’t made correctly to which she was non responsive. By non responsive I literally mean NO RESPONSE. I could have been talking to a brick wall. She walked off. We had requested two additional forks, but she didn’t return with them so I got up and got them myself. Then she finally returned with the correct appetizer as we were almost halfway through with our ramen. Again, no words exchanged and she walks off. When she made her final return to the table she asked if we were ready for the check and I stated that we would like some refills first and to continue eating, but she could bring the check. She interrupted me and asked if we would need to go bowls. And I again requested a refill. She brought me back a glass of tea with no ice in it. So I requested that she bring me a glass of ice to which she said “you want me to just bring you ice?” In a condescending tone. So I responded in the affirmative and pointed out that she had not put ice in my refill. She rolled her eyes so I asked for the manager. She had no verbal response and walked off. She brought a glass of ice and walked away for the last time. Again, NO WORDS from her. The manager comes over and I explain my frustrations to which he apologizes and says he will be giving us a 50% discount and ensure our check is rung up correctly since there were several errors. We were satisfied. Then he returns with TWO SEPARATE checks. Which made no sense as we made it clear we wanted one check for our party. Either way we check the ticket and notice we were being charged for items we had not received or had sent back. So, he returns again and again has two separate checks. One was for $80 something dollars and one was for $7. The math was not mathing. He did not end up giving us a 50% discount. He actually just took off the incorrect items and under “goodwill” gave a $14 credit. We pointed this out to him and stated that we just wanted to pay so we could leave and asked for to go bowls. When we attempted to pay they had charged us over $117. Which was wrong. He still asked for a tip. Then as we are leaving the hostess stopped us to give us bag as we had several bowls and neither Patricia or the manager had come back by or offered one. Who is running...

My recent visit to JINYA Ramen Bar in Alpharetta, GA, was an absolute delight. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality that made us feel right at home. The star of the show was undoubtedly our server, Jeremy, who went above and beyond to ensure we had an unforgettable dining experience.

The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, creating the perfect atmosphere for enjoying a comforting bowl of ramen. The interior was tastefully decorated, with a subtle touch of modern elegance that complemented the overall dining experience.

Jeremy's welcoming smile and friendly demeanor immediately put us at ease. He expertly guided us through the menu, taking the time to explain the various ramen options and recommending popular dishes. He was patient and attentive, answering all our questions with enthusiasm and knowledge. It was evident that he was genuinely passionate about the cuisine and wanted us to have the best possible experience.

As for the food itself, it was simply outstanding. Each bowl of ramen was crafted with care and precision, boasting a harmonious blend of flavors that satisfied our taste buds. The broth was rich and savory, and the toppings were fresh and generously portioned. Whether you prefer a classic Tonkotsu or a more adventurous Spicy Umami Miso, JINYA Ramen Bar has something to please every palate.

Throughout our meal, Jeremy consistently checked on us to ensure we had everything we needed, making us feel like valued guests. His attentiveness and impeccable service truly set the tone for the evening.

In addition to the delectable ramen, the restaurant's extensive beverage selection was also impressive. We tried a couple of their specialty cocktails, and they were skillfully crafted and complemented the meal perfectly.

Overall, our dining experience at JINYA Ramen Bar was exceptional, thanks in large part to the outstanding service provided by Jeremy. The combination of delicious food, inviting ambiance, and top-notch hospitality made for a truly memorable visit. If you find yourself in Alpharetta, GA, I highly recommend stopping by JINYA Ramen Bar and experiencing their delectable offerings and the warm hospitality of their servers like Jeremy. We left the restaurant with full hearts and happy bellies, eager to return...

An Absolutely Five-Star Ramen Experience Thanks to Aaron at Jinya! Stepping into Jinya Ramen Bar is always a treat for the senses – the rich aroma of simmering broth, the lively atmosphere, and the promise of a deeply satisfying meal. But my recent visit was elevated from great to absolutely exceptional, thanks to the outstanding service provided by Aaron. From the moment he greeted our table, Aaron was incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. He navigated the menu with expertise, offering fantastic recommendations based on our preferences and patiently answering all of our questions about the different broths and toppings. His passion for the food was evident and genuinely infectious. When it came to placing our order, Aaron was efficient and ensured every detail was correct. Our drinks arrived promptly, and he checked back at the perfect intervals – attentive without being intrusive. He had a genuine smile and made us feel truly valued as customers. And the ramen? As always at Jinya, it was perfection. The broth was rich and flavorful, the noodles had the ideal texture, and the toppings were fresh and delicious. I highly recommend the Spicy Creamy Vegan Ramen – a true highlight! The Brussels sprouts tempura were also a fantastic starter, perfectly crispy and addictive. What truly set this experience apart was Aaron's proactive and friendly service. He anticipated our needs, refilled our water glasses without us having to ask, and generally made the整个 dining experience flow seamlessly. It's rare to encounter such a genuine level of care and attentiveness. Jinya Ramen Bar consistently delivers on delicious food and a great atmosphere, but Aaron's exceptional service made this visit unforgettable. He's a true asset to the team and the kind of server who makes you want to become a regular. If you're heading to Jinya, I sincerely hope you have the pleasure of being 테이블d by Aaron. You're guaranteed a fantastic meal and service that will leave you smiling. Kudos to Aaron for making our ramen lunch...

What you need to know: Best ramen in the city! Location is a bit hard to find if you haven't been to the city center before. Been a fan and frequent patron of their Buckhead location and couldn't wait to try out Alpharetta. Needless to say, whoever is in charge of quality control for the Jinya chain is quite possibly the BEST in the business - no matter the location, you know the food's going to be consistently top notch! Food: started with the pork gyoza which were equally crispy and soft and flavorful. Wish they had a bit more fat in the filling to be more juicy, but these are still solid. Had the (medium) spicy chicken ramen with an added seasoned egg and bok choy. Perfectly spicy, rich and deep flavors, tender chicken, amazing noodles - can't complain one bit. My plus one had the tonkotsu black and she loved it. We both left incredibly full and satisfied. Drinks: Tried out the Tiki Haze from Atlanta Hard Cider and these were stunning! Definitely recommend! Service: Always good service at Jinya, prompt and courteous, no frills just solid service. Ambience: The mural inside is beautiful! Everything else is pretty standard for Jinya's aesthetic, down to the signature bowls. Also located in a very cute and new city center for Alpharetta, so you have plenty to look at when you inevitably walk around to try and digest all the deliciousness you just took in. All in all, no matter the location, I always know I'm going to get top quality ramen from Jinya. Glad to know that I'm able to get my Jinya fix no matter where around Atlanta I am. Will definitely be back!

Popped in for some Ramen before a movie on a cold date night. The restaurant does not use a reservation service but does have an option to join the waitlist in advance of arriving. We did that but still ended up waiting about an additional 20 mins over the latest estimated time. On a normal spring or summer day that wouldn’t be much of an issue but there is literally no indoor waiting area without crowding tables as they eat. It is a small interior so not a lot of tables and our party of four was sat at a long ‘party’ table with 2 other families which was fine but crowded with no partition to help divide noise and conversation. Overall our service was good to fair with my primary observation being if you’re going to be a waiter that doesn’t write down orders then you should be experienced enough to remember the orders. We had a few mistakes and I’m not one that wants to send food or drinks back. Our food on the other hand was very good. We started with crispy rice with spicy tuna, crispy chicken and corn tempura. All can easily be recommended. Everyone in our party went with the spicy chicken noodle bowl in some variation with different add ins. 3 of us ordered the mild and 1 a medium. In retrospect 3 said next time I’m getting the medium and the 1 medium said they would they up as well. (Only one bowl is pictured). We did have a need for a gluten free option which was easily accommodated. If you’re in the area, check the waitlist and if you can get in the food is certainly worth the visit.
