I had an iPhone 13 that had the back shattered a year ago. It got dropped in water and the front screen stopped working. After calling a few places in the area that couldnāt fix the back glass too, I called here. The prices were the same as the other places I called so I figured itās be fine. I had asked the other places if they couldnāt fix it if there was a charge and they said no, the diagnostic was free. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask here and when I went there to drop it off they charged me $41. They told me it was to open it up and dry it out. I asked if there was a way to know if it was functional and would work before I paid it and they said no. The phone was dry, it had been sitting in rice with a completely shattered back and it was turning on, the screen just wasnāt working. I called that afternoon to get the status and found out that they couldnāt do anything because they didnāt have the screen for my phone in stock and wouldnāt get it for three more days but because of the potential of extensive water damage they suggested I get a new phone. They told me they would apply it to the data transfer to the new phone and it would be about $20 more. They told me they would call me when the part came in and I could come pick up my phone if I wanted to. I picked up my phone and absolutely nothing was done. They told me it was dry when they opened it and the screen was the problem. They would call when the part came in. They did and I went in. I had my new phone and they told me the options were to wipe the new phone that I had to set up while I was waiting for their part to come in or I could do a data transfer from the old phone. I asked the price on it and was quoted $79 for one days worth of video and photos nothing else because I had a backup from the night before the damage happened. I was literally trying to transfer one video and maybe ten pictures . They would take the $40 off that I had already paid. They literally were going to charge me $80 to do the regular Apple iPhone setup⦠I get that theyād need to install a screen for a minute to my old phone but this is a totally ripoff. Sure glad they got $40 to tell me my phone was dry. Huge waste of time and money. Iād highly suggest going somewhere else⦠also, he requested my Apple password so he could download apps to my phones and told me it would be three hours. I donāt feel comfortable giving some random stranger my Apple password verbally in front of a bunch of other customers. He said heād call me when it was done or if there was a problem⦠umm you have my phone so calling me wonāt work ā¦. He asked if I had another contact number⦠nope.. so just come back in three hours and Iāll tell you then if we had any problems or not. My choice was to loose the video of my daughters tumbling recital or pay $80 for the one video. I walked away heartbroken for the loss of the video and feeling super cheated. He told me as I was walking away that heād shred the password he made me write...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWow! That's what really sums up my experience with iQue in American Fork. Here's what happened. I went on a 5 week road trip across the USA with my family. It's been a dream of mine for decades, it took a whole year to plan and we have 5 kids so it was pretty crazy. I took pictures like a true mother of everything. Here's the part in embarrassed about, I also had a years worth of pictures on my phone too NOT backed up or saved to the Cloud in 58 weeks. I kept getting the reminder to do it and just kept putting it off for a whole year. I know so dumb! Well, the last week of our trip I accidentally closed the van door on my phone bending the top 1.5 inch at a 25 degree angle. It was seriously BROKEN. I went to Apple they couldn't help, they gave me a list of 5 data recovery experts and I got quotes from $500-$1750 to retrieve the data and pictures. My husband suggested to iQue and to take it to them and see. So I did. Well, they did it. It didn't cost me anything more than just my plan with them. Jonah and Alex were the two guys that helped me out and I seriously can't explain enough how awesome they are, not just with customer service but just really nice guys. When I came back with the new phone to put my backup on and saw that ALL my pictures had been restored I couldn't help but cry and Jonah (sorry buddy I'm spilling the beans here) cried with me too. I know it sounds silly maybe, but it's awesome and these guys are awesome! So super long story short these guys are miracle workers, super nice, so humble, and don't gouge you a $1000 because you're sad and desperate and helpless. They just help and don't try to take advantage of the situation where honestly all the other places I called...

First off, their quality of work was great and they did it really fast, which I was thankful for, but the communication between their own staff and between them and me, the customer, was horrible. If you want to read the story see below. Just be sure to GET EVERYTHING WRITTEN DOWN THAT YOU'RE GETTING DONE WITH PRICES!
I had to get a data transfer from one computer to another. My new computer didn't have as much hard drive, so i was told they would transfer all the data they could to the new computer and then put whatever data that was left over to an external hard drive that I provided. 1 total full transfer. When i picked up the computer they told me that everything was transferred except the videos and music, so I gave them my external hard drive to transfer the rest of the data to complete 1 full transfer. When I went to pick it they charged me an extra ~$50 because they did another full data transfer instead of just doing the videos and music. When I asked them why I was charged they said that it was 2 data transfers (not what we agreed on). Then they said that all the data was actually transferred to my computer including video and music, which it was not. Eventually they refunded the amount back, but would not accept responsibility for them not knowing what they were doing. Basically, it was a lot of he said she said, and break down of communication that lead to me being overcharged and extremely frustrated. They said one thing, then did another, then said they did another thing, but didn't, and charged me for another...
