Rock Creek Pizza — Restaurant in American Fork

This is a new to me pizza place so I ordered a plain cheese pizza, garlic breadsticks and the Rock Creek specialty pizza. The breadsticks were delicious, soft and garlicky (but not too garlicky) and not greasy at all which I appreciated. The cheese pizza was VERY cheesy so if you like a lot of cheese definitely a winner. I thought it was a bit too much but that is personal preference. The flavor was delicious. I wasn’t as impressed with the specialty pizza. The sauce and crust were delicious. The sausage was more like small meatballs and I prefer crumbles but, again, if you like bigger chunks of sausage you’ll like it. The green peppers were a little strong but overall a very good pizza.

I tried to call to place an order to avoid the online fees but was sent a text link to go to the website to order rather than having a person take the order and then when I went to pick it up it wasn’t ready when they said it would be, but the employee was pleasant and polite and the storefront was inviting. They also have candy on the counter which is a thoughtful touch.

I felt the prices were a bit high for the size of the pizzas, $22 for a medium (14”) pizza and $15 for a small (12”). They have sizes ranging from an 8” personal for about $10 up to a large 16”...

I quite dislike pizza. My other family members love the stuff, so occasionally I have to go along with the crowd. We decided to give Rock Creek a try tonight. We were blown away! It is easily the best pizza I have ever had. We enjoyed the margherita, pull-aparts, aloha, and several more varieties. I have never, in my life, eaten that much pizza. It was delicious. So, great job Rock Creek. You may have turned me into a pizza lover (at least for your particular take on the dish). Well worth the price. The delivery driver was fantastic as well. Absolutely delicious pizza, I've been twice now and it was very good both times. I struggled deciding what rating to give, and the only reason its not 5 stars is for the deceptive practice of using junk fees, that I think people need to be aware of. They have a "convenience fee" of $1.50 for carryout. Don't do this! Make the menu price reflect what you need to charge.
