Stayed here about 4 weeks ago while on a Disney trip with my husband. We booked our room through Disney as a package with our park tickets. We were very pleased to find out that parking was included! While other reviews mention not having parking spaces, we never ran into this issue. The room we got was a queen size bed and there was plenty of storage for our belongings and we appeared the kitchen space and full sized fridge. The ice maker did not work on our freezer but an ice maker is available in the lobby just bring your bin down with you. Coffee and popcorn were included and all the utensils to cook most any meal. Everything was clean and tidy. The position of the bed to the AC was a little awkward. Anyone sleeping on that side of the bed has to just about jump over the AC unit to get out of that side of the bed. Nice sized TV with many channels available and easy to use remote. The toiletries included in the bathroom were very useful and I was happy they were actual Dove brand and didn't make my skin/hair dry or were tiny sized making have to ask for more. The bathroom was spotless which is great and the water pressure was good and temp was hot at any time of day. My only complaints are that the bathroom has a motion sensor light and only ONE light in the bathroom which is very very bright. It was a little unpleasant to wake up to use the bathroom and get blasted by bright white light while still half asleep, so bright it lights up the room when the door is open. Secondly, the seals to the doors that lead to the hall are only half there or some more than half missing meaning the light from the hall just comes in from under the door and the sound is very much there every time anyone passed our room. I did not get a chance to use the pool, gym, or laundry. I did see the prices for the small convenience corner and they are a little high but okay for emergencies. Check out was easy and we enjoyed our stay over all. 20 minute walk to Toy Story parking which is same to the park itself. The city bus also picks up right outside which costs about $3 a day...

My refrigerator was making a very loud noise the first morning after I arrived and the maintenance person was there within just a few minutes and fixed it. Every time I had a question or issue, somebody was available to help me with whatever it was. The housekeeping, maintenance, and front desk personnel are all truly outstanding people.
I prefer to clean my room most of the time myself, but this means that I need to interact with housekeeping staff more frequently because I need to retrieve supplies. Everyday I needed to get new towels or trash bags or whatever the case, and every single time the housekeeping staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. They were always very nice, full of smiles, and really just happy to help.
Claudia absolutely went out of her way multiple times throughout my stay. Because I was driving from out of state and I was unsure of the road conditions, I left early because there were road closures due to the recent floods. I ended up getting to California two days early and the last thing I wanted to do was have to switch rooms after being there for two days. So Claudia worked her magic and I was able to make a reservation to arrive a couple of days early and she simply made sure that I had the same room type so I didn't have to move. This was extremely important to me and I can't think her enough for making this happen for me.
Additionally, I needed to extend my stay more than once and, once again, Claudia worked her magic and I was able to stay in the same room. I don't know how often you travel, but switching rooms for someone like me is very difficult.
Please thank them again for me for a wonderful stay!
DEFINITELY RECOMMEND! DEFINITELY...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of staying at Candlewood Suites, and I must say, it was a wonderful experience! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the spaciousness of the room. It felt more like a cozy apartment than a typical hotel room, which made my stay even more enjoyable.
One of the highlights for me was the shower—it was refreshing and invigorating, providing the perfect way to unwind after a long day. I also appreciated having a full kitchen in the room, even though I didn’t utilize it during my stay. The convenience of having that option available is a fantastic feature, especially for longer visits or if you prefer to prepare your own meals.
Additionally, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided. It’s such a nice touch to have high-quality products that enhance the overall experience and leave you feeling pampered.
While the room was great overall, I did notice a couple of minor downsides. As an accessibility room, it was understandable that there wasn’t a closet, but it would have been nice to have a designated space for hanging clothes. Additionally, I noticed that there wasn’t any lotion among the amenities, which is a small detail but always appreciated.
The bed was a bit firmer than my personal preference, but the pillows were incredibly comfortable and provided a great night's sleep.
Overall, my stay at Candlewood Suites was very pleasant, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped accommodation with quality amenities. I will definitely consider staying here again...
