Saw a lot of great reviews for this place not sure what happened with my stay. So to start with I was informed that they do valet parking only but the reality of this does not set in until you arrive to your hotel after hours of driving and you picked up some food on the way there. Again very tired after driving for so long, the check in process is much longer then it should be as they keep pressuring me to go into some kind of time share breakfast. So yeah my food is cold now with all of the BS inside but then they tell me you need to load your stuff up and go to your room as we have to park the car. I am presented with a pretty crappy luggage cart, no help and had quite a bit of stuff to load up including our cold food. The valets even laughed at how rickety the path to the elevator is. It indeed is a floor of very uneven tiles and I am fighting to keep everything on the cart. So we get to our room and it is the strangest layout of a hotel room. Maybe it was because I used a coupon or something but the pictures of the rooms on the booking site were not the room we got and looked a lot better(looked like a normal decent hotel room). So to start with there is no desk space so it was a bit of a chore to find places to unload stuff. For some reason there is only one trash can in the room near the kitchen sink, there wasn't even one in the bathroom. The room was not very clean and the couch had many questionable stains on it (I really didn't want to think about what they were or what part of the body they came from). The front living room area is very small goes to a small hallway with the bathroom sink and door and then goes into another room that is barely big enough for the king bed. I wish I had taken pictures it was a very strange layout and not very conducive to relaxing. Everything was just placed oddly in the room. And the bedroom only had one nightstand, my wife had to put her phone on a box to charge for the night. The bed was very hard not comfortable at all and for some reason there was a buzzing noise coming from the air vents which kept us up at night. This is not the hotel's fault I guess but we were told on check in there was construction near by but we were assured that it was only during business hours. So very loud table saws started being used at 4:30 AM (that doesn't seem like business hours). So I know this isn't the hotels fault but just added to an overall bad stay. After a whole day of dealing with Disneyland I wanted to load up the family and just head home, that's how much I disliked this hotel. I didn't for safety reasons but I almost wish I had as we had a bad nights sleep again with all the noise. Not sure if we are just picky or something but I would not stay here again with all...

I'll start with my positives first, I suppose. The rooms were nice and also clean which is the most important. Small kitchenette with microwave, coffee, dishes, and a sink but don't expect to be cooking much if you stay here. Couch was reasonably comfortable. The amenities they did have were okay, but the spas and pool were also well taken care of which was important to us! Rooftop sundeck was nice with no one around. Absolutely loved that there was volume control for music in public areas! Location is really good if you don't mind short walks.
Gym was okay, very disappointed that they charged for laundry and left the main door into the hotel open so anyone could go in without a key. There is a washroom near the pool but no change rooms or showers, and this seems to be shared with staff and the construction workers. No other bathrooms or showers available if you're waiting to check in or out with late check ins and early check out so be wary about that.
Overall it did not feel like an upscale hotel or resort. The gift shop is cluttered and not particularly cheaper than Disney, certainly far more expensive than Target or Walmart. Check in was not smooth and our concierge was either not knowledgeable or trying to sell hotel partnered services (pushing the $6 hotel shuttle and did not tell us about the free Toy Story shuttle to Disney that leaves only two blocks away, told us 711 was open- it's not!!!!). We did know about the construction beforehand but holy heck is it not minor! It's dangerous to walk in and out of the hotel and is unbelievably loud--- would be very careful about booking now if you have kids especially. Also no one gave us directions around the construction so it was stressful and confusing to even enter the hotel, let alone navigate the weird elevators. They also frequently left one of the key actived doors into the room floors open... So anyone could be wandering around.
Felt pressured to leave good feedback by posters in the elevators and front desk staff (who asked us to name names specifically- so Amir be careful because you were not friendly or welcoming! Not even a thank you for staying with us or basically front desk pleasantries. I had to ask for an amenities key multiple times. Deffinitely not five star service! ). In addition, the pool was closed one afternoon to refill it which seems ridiculous that routine maintenance wouldn't be done during off hours and was the cherry on top of the frustrations here.
If you've already booked, you'll have a fine stay. If you're torn between Peacock and somewhere else though, maybe look more into those...
Read moreTo the new management, Serious Management overlooking over the past 2 years, The quality of care and attention to the prior staff details are now more bureaucracy which was once home away from home and past happy uneventful stays. Please notice properly seal gaps and update aluminum windows for peaceful night sleep. Windows lack updating and the seals on the windows poor in the noise of the garbage truck, buses, and firetrucks, There office is nice in quite but do not show the problem to doors and windows where you want to be sleeping noise and vibrations from flooring frequencies to just make you feel like small steps lead to believing the jumpy house is above your floor. With echo of the parking garage noises and the pool activity it can be quite hard to sleep next to the window when your little one or you need a nap from mid day. back from the parks.
The restricted check out time pulled from 11am to 10am, and check in sometimes isn't at 4pm its at 5pm! There is once was a lot children programs on the resort and breakfast options, with decline of Lack of housekeeping teams to keep the units free of shower mold, and Sofabed needles shows when they don't come in maintain housekeeping mid week. Theres pressure for the Excessive Housekeeping fee do not match the prior commitment to have clean well maintained units. I strongly support a living wage here and wish they would apply that to the housekeeping team, so that their now very small staff of housekeepers that would work better and happier. Little alone items that get "lost or found" you likely never see them again nor will management release them immediately to you, you have wait til the next day or when the housekeeper manager is on duty to release them even when you were just moving from one room to another room. There is no fridge or pick up for the delivery food, the doors are locked so you have to go to the lobby, which children sleeping it is nearly impossible to get delivered food to your door. They lack the ability to add some fridges outside for drop off like on other properties that have adapted to the changes. Last please update the min fridge to a small fridge that has a proper freezer, and Add working easy Streaming TV to the units. The new cable system controls are very complicated and the tv screen is smaller than the actual tv. Thank you to all the security team and valet support to help items being sent up past 8pm, true lifesaver to get toilet paper when no housekeeping...
