I went to this place to get a very basic trim, nothing special. I wanted a fade and I even pointed out another customer that had just gotten the cut I wanted, literally right in front of where I was sitting. He asked how short and I said pretty short and then fade up to long, which is a pretty basic request. He then said like a 2? and I told him I don't know what the numbers are but we can try it. He finished and asked if I liked it, I tried to explain what a fade was and he gave it another shot. After multiple attempts I just decided to cut my losses and have the guy stop trying. I left with nothing close to a fade. One side of my hairline was cut about an inch higher than the other side, not exaggerating, if anything i'm being modest about the inch. The guy sat in a chair the whole time he was cutting my hair, i've never experienced anyone who did this but maybe he had an issue that prevented him from standing, so i'll give him that possibility. There was a young kid that worked in there who kept walking up the whole time to the guy cutting my hair to talk about buying cologne from Macy's and showing him pics on his phone, so that interrupted the cut a few times. This was literally the worst haircut i've ever had. If you go then i'd recommend not getting your haircut by the guy in the chair in the back who wears a hat and sits on a chair while he does your cut. Sorry but it was just not anything like the website says. No attention to detail, no concept of style and can't follow directions, so why even ask what I wanted if he wasn't going to do it? I paid the $25 and tipped him $5 because maybe he was actually trying, so I guess the effort might have been there but the skills and focus were...
Read moreI’ve been coming here off and on for the past year. First let me say that the barbers here are serious when it comes to haircuts. Especially if you’re looking for a fade or one of those new trendy cuts (faux hawk). The amount of time they spend on you and the attention to detail is really amazing—especially considering the reasonable prices they charge.
When I first started coming here I was planning on giving this place a four star. Good quality cuts but annoyed by the long waits. However the more I’ve been coming, the more I realized that customer service and professionalism is seriously lacking. Most times I’ve come in the wait time has been ridiculously long (try up to an hour). Even though there is a number system, you will still see people who came in after you but get a cut before your turn. It also seems that there is no regard to the customer when it comes to the environment in the store. I’m not just talking about playing rap music with profanity, but X-rated songs that get into very explicit detail that families and kids should absolutely not be hearing.
Yes, they do offer good haircuts but far from being professionally run. It’s basically like getting a cut from your neighborhood homeboy. Which is fine if he’s doing it out of his garage, but definitely not appropriate for a public...
Read moreI will never take my son here again. They lack professionalism and are not customer service friendly at all and they do not like working with kids. We sat there for 40 mins and nothing, as more customers started walking in we were made aware that you have to sign in! It would be nice if you made every customer a aware of this not just a selection of customers, as a person that works in a high volume customer field I must give u some pointers first of all it looks very bad when you are cutting someone's hair and checking your phone at the same time and also not everyone that looks Hispanic only speaks Spanish, so keep your rude comments about your own customers to yourself, second could you please treat women that take their children in by themselves with the same respect that you treat the other male customers. It's sad that your establishment thinks that just because I'm a woman I don't know how I want you to cut my son's hair. I gave this place 3 tries and each time I went it just got worst. If you can please avoid this place...
