Loved my experience at Simply Elegant. I wasn't sure what it would be like when I made the appointment for trying on wedding dresses, as my budget is definitely on the lower end. I hate the idea of feeling put down because I don't have many hundreds or thousands of dollars to spend on a dress, but I needn't have worried. Laci was an absolute gem who made my mom and I feel so at ease. She never once made me feel pressured into spending a lot of money or going outside our budget. Her main focus was finding me a dress that I felt great in. She even went out of her way to call a seamstress to see if an issue with a dress could be fixed and called me back the next day to let me know. Even though I may not end up with a dress from Simply Elegant, I wanted to let people know about my great experience here and how great Laci is.

A note on the process for those who are uncomfortable undressing in front of people: the attendant has you step into a curtained room and put on a robe over your underwear. Then when you're ready, she brings in a dress and spreads it out on the ground so you can easily step into it. She then turns her back while you drop the robe and start getting into the dress. Then when you're ready to be zipped or buttoned up, you tell her and she'll turn around to help. Same thing in reverse when it's time for the dress to come off. I absolutely LOVE this place so much!!!! If you are looking for your perfect dress do not settle for any other place but here! I had gone to David’s bridal prior to coming to simply elegant and I had the worst experience ever! I had to put my own dresses on which was extremely difficult and they pressured me into trying to buy a dress but thankfully I made an appointment to come here and I was one of the best experiences I’ve had! As a bride you want to feel special and you want to have that special moment and the simply elegant staff will give you that! I worked with Michelle to find my dress and she was amazing! She listened to everything I wanted and was so kind and kept telling me how beautiful I looked and I felt very special! I chose a dress that day and it came in super quick which might not happen for every bride but I was so excited! I got a call from Marilyn saying my dress had come in and she helped me make an appointment! A few days later I went to pick it up and try it on and Marilyn herself helped me and she is SOOOO KIND! I love her! They all hyped me up and it was such a good experience! I ordered a wedding dress from another Boutique a couple of months ago. I Went to go pick it up and it was lost! I had to get a full refund on my dress. My wedding is in less than 6 weeks. So I decided to call Simply Elegant. I told the lady on the phone my story. She was so sweet and offers for me to come in at four, mind you they close at four. I took her up on her offer, I went in to look at some dresses. Laci that was the lady who was literally saving my wedding, looked me in the eye and said let's do this! Let's find you a dress! Holding back my tears almost the entire time I was their, feeling a huge weight and stress lifted off my shoulders! This was the first time in planning my whole entire wedding I felt like a bride! I tried on only two dresses, I fell in love with the second one and then she put the veil on and it was perfect. She also kept the veil and dress in our budget. I'm very modest and I felt nothing but relaxed and comfortable. I never dreamed I could have an experience like I did yesterday. This place deserves more than five stars!
