They deserve 0 stars. And full customer loss..I'm a reputable Vendor for starters. I've seen the "management" here degrade, disrespect, and humiliate Pepsi, Frito Lay, Coke, and other vendors at various times, on several days. Today, it was my turn I guess and it started with front end customer service. A young woman (not named) basically accused me of package theft since they were missing packages and was unclear where they went after I had picked them up a few days ago and brought them to my Terminal for further delivery (as my job entails). She asked me "If I was doing my job properly" to which I responded "I know how to do my job, I think it's on your end, or the other branch of my company, but I'm not sure" she responded snobbily "I know how to do my job" (Okay, whatever) she ran off to tell someone else. I was then met with Collin, a "Shift lead" who chased me down and then began power tripping on me, in the front end of the store near the cash registers in front of SEVERAL customers I was confused, because I had said or done nothing wrong to my knowledge in my honest belief. I was told to leave the store immediately (Which would force me to not follow the obligations of my job, which would be a serious complainable offense) if not wearing a mask (I didn't have one, and I can't wear one anyway due to my job needing my face to be fully visible, and other private reasons) He then continued to belittle, berate, humiliate, and disrespect me in front of a large group of customers and didn't offer me an opportunity to say a word, or defend myself because he kept interrupting me, cutting me off, or saying "You don't need to say a word" while putting me on blast in the front of the store whilst I was performing my job duties. (Whatever, dude I get that you're unhappy in your life and want to take it out on someone who has to remain professional and cannot retaliate)
He then made a phone call to my boss, and I have a copy of the SLANDEROUS lie filled email stating my "mass long term unprofessional attitude" when I've only been on this route for 2 weeks, and other details which, no shocker; are in areas he never works in anyway and that I'm RESPECTED in. So, Collin "shift lead", power tripping, disrespectful dude, your lies are caught and I'm hoping at least a few customers who witnessed your charade will be kind enough to complain to your boss about your publicized, belittling display towards me on a 100+ degree day when I was just doing my job while handling your, and the female employee's unnecessary attitudes so that your slanderous complaint towards me to my company is revoked and deemed invalid. (Which I'm sure it will be, because your complaint is 100% not my character, and stated you worked in areas that you don't actually step foot in). Cheers, and I await your full apology. You're not fit to properly and professionally manage a very little "situation", but Target deems you fit to lead people to obtain profits?...
Read moreI do like this target, it is a very nice target and always has stock. My problem today (3/8/25) was at their Starbucks. I went in around 6 pm and stopped at the Starbucks before getting my groceries as I usually do here. I wanted to try the new seasonal drink, iced cherry chai. I had already tried this drink from a stand alone Starbucks in west Des Moines and it was delicious. I was told to try it with matcha powder the next time I went so I tried to order it that way. The lady then got an annoyed rude tone to her voice and looked at me as if I was stupid, saying she couldn’t make it like that, I was just like okay. It then took her ages to finish the drinks so I went and started shopping while my boyfriend waited. When my boyfriend found his way over to me with our drinks he informed me he over heard the Starbucks employees talking crap about me and my order with the other employees. I think that this is unacceptable and very unprofessional, it’s also so out of pocket and just all around rude for no reason. All and all, the employees at the Starbucks tonight clearly don’t know how to barista, my drink was awful compared to the first one I’d previously got from a different location. AND extremely rude and unprofessional for a GROWN woman working at a Starbucks in a target. I hate leaving my house and then having to deal with people that are rude and nasty while they are working....
Read moreI'd love to give a shout out and kudos to the wonderful team handling the outside pick up orders. This evening i had placed an order for a few things that i needed and timed it so i could pick everything up on my lunch break. Unfortunately there was a slight mix up in orders and i recieved someone else's. The number of bags seemed off for the amount of items ordered. i doubled checked and sure enough it wasnt my order. I made a call to the pick up desk and spoke with a woman who was extremely apologetic and kind and quickly came out to resolve the matter. There had been a slight mix up on the carts and the wrong bags had been brought out. No worries accidents happen. The staff was quick in fixing the mix up and brought out the right order immediately. They were even kind enough to give me a gift card to apologize for the matter. I have been using Target pick up for almost two years now since the pandemic started. And in all this time this is the first mix up ever. I would highly recommend this service and this store location. They do an amazing job to take care and carefully handle each order. Accidents happen, but when they do the Target staff are definitely on top of it, and quickly work to fix the issue. Couldn't have asked for better. Thank you ladies for everything you did tonight.
