I moved to this area a few months ago. Over the last few years I have probably dined at Noodles & Company 10 to 12 times not too often simply because there's not many locations where I am originally from. I ate at the Noodles & Company next to University about 6 weeks ago and I enjoyed the food but I felt like I had interrupted the staff. Just being truthful and I don't like saying that but I believe in honesty for a review. I came to this location a few weeks ago and immediately I noticed how the place was packed. I've never experienced but myself only dining at other locations. I thought well they must be going something right here in addition to the food being excellent because the food is excellent at all the locations. The service here is outstanding. I came back today and the woman who greeted me and took my order was unbelievably pleasant. She was enthusiastic in her approach and I could tell she was sincere. She made my experience delightful. I love having a sense of welcome. Who doesn't? As I was leaving I went back up to the counter and I asked her for her first name. Her name is Josie and I found out she is the general manager. I had noticed the behavior of some of the other employees who equally were demonstrating hospitable character. Of course it would make sense because it always starts at the top.j Josie has set an excellent tone for these people to reach and they most definitely embody it. I'm grateful. And of course I...
Read moreStopped in with a friend I invited to dinner. As we entered the restaurant we were told online orders only...no one was getting their orders taken...I stated we will see. Seems the manager does that when they get busy at times...so beware.
I was there because my school advertised for two weeks a fundraiser, and on my way out I saw some of my students and their parents leaving as they were told online orders as well. Wonder how much money my school lost by having students and their parents sent off.
Once at the counter I pulled out my flier from the school and made it clear I was not ordering on my phone that it was on the flier that I could order from the counter...which was finally allowed.
The food I ordered was cold, very wet and barely edible. I think they rushed my order, which contained my guest, so I would leave. I proceeded to eat my food and visit with my guest...who plans on never returning to this location.
I do not want to see the manager get fired, but realize actions have consequences... something we teach students daily and we all can learn through life. The reason they were probably busy was because to weeks of seeing fliers, hearing about the fundraiser and seeing the digital announcements in the building made an impact on students and their parents.
As I was clearing my table a group of college students arrived...all of them were able to place...
Read moreCame into noodles and company for the first time ever hoping to place an order and pay in cash. When I get in there, there are 4 people ahead of me in line to order. And probably 5-7 people waiting on pickup orders. The manager looked very flustered and overwhelmed, one of the cooks seemed irritated with her and kept bumping into her on purpose it seemed. The manager after a few minutes came out to say to the people waiting in line that if they wanted to order it would be at least ten minutes until they would even be able to take our orders in order to get caught up on orders. I waited and so did the few people in front of me. 15 minutes goes by and the manger comes out again and says if we want to order it’s going to take at least 30 minutes to fill the orders. And then this is where she really got me, she was trying to get people out of there by saying that their food may or may not be cold and there’s nothing she can do about it. “Do you guys want cold food” she asked everyone in line. Everybody in line left. I ended up placing an online order because my SO really wanted noodle and company. The food was good and ready...
