I cannot describe what a fantastic experience I had with Victor the owner of the Diamond Factory of Ann Arbor. From the moment I walked into the store he listened carefully to my situation and addressed my needs. I had a terrible experience with a local jewelry store on Stadium Road in Ann Arbor. I found out that the appraisal of my ring that we had spent a lot of money on was much too high compared to the ring's true value. I lost my ring and had it fully insured. The sad part for me was that I did not have the money I thought I had to work with due to the misleading appraisal. I did not even mention my problem to Victor at first. I showed him the appraisal of my ring and he said wow something does not add up. He was not the first jeweler to say this. Victor, however, was the ONLY jeweler that said he would work his hardest to get me the ring I should have had in the first place within the replacement dollar amount the insurance company was willing to provide. I fell in love with a setting from a designer the Diamond Factory carries. Victor worked for numerous weeks bringing me in different center stones. He did this all not knowing if I would end up giving him my business. He treated me so kindly each time he saw me. He found me exactly what I requested and then I gave him the go ahead to work my insurance company. Victor is honest and restored my belief that there are business owners out there who strive for the long term client and not a one time customer. This is the best jewelry store I have ever been to! I was at Briarwood mall looking for an engagement ring. After going to a couple stores and not having any luck I went into the Diamond Factory. When I walked in I was greeted by Victor. After showing him a few pictures of the style ring I was looking for not only did he have the style ring at the store he also told me that they could modify it any way it needed to be modified. The ring was perfect exactly how it was. I just had one small problem, I knew my future wife's finger was small then a size 7. He put an adjustable clip on the ring so she could wear it until we could come back to have it sized. When we came back to have it sized we were greeted by Victor and his friendly smile. He congratulated us on our engagement and we could both tell he was genuinely happy for us during this exciting time in our life. He told us it would take around a week to get it size, less then three days later he was calling us to let us know it was done. I think what I am most impressed with is that Victor and the rest of the team at the Diamond Factory are not your typical jewelry store that is trying to make a sale. Vic and Raffi are the best guys in the business here in Ann Arbor. Their customer service is like no other. My family has been coming to them for jewelry since I was a small kid maybe 7 or 8 years old and they both always remember me and my entire family. The quality of pieces they have is exceptional and beyond unique. My mother, grandmother, and aunt all have very unique taste in jewels and that is part of the reason they’ve always chose these guys. They have the unique options and even if they don’t they will make something that fits just for you. Not to mention the service that comes behind your unique jewelry piece. It’s like dealing with your favorite cousin. At least that’s how they make me and the family feel. All this to say I went in today for a watch bracelet resize expecting fully to pay. When I came in to pay and pick up, which by the way service was done in less than 30 minutes so super fast, I was greeted with a big smile and a big hello from Vic. He asked how the family was doing and said how much he misses seeing us and making pieces for us. He did my service for free and for another time made me feel like family.
