Totally Tea — Restaurant in Ann Arbor

I feel bad saying this, cause the worker was friendly, but the drinks are so bad. Just super watered down and flavorless. Easily the worst I’ve ever had. It was $17.50 for 2 slushie/smoothies with boba pearls. Almost $9 for 1 drink and they are not good. I originally ordered 1 taro and 1 honeydew. The honeydew came out first and was so watered down it didn’t taste anything like a honeydew drink. It tasted like watery lemon, and wasn’t sweet at all, it was like a bitter lemon. I asked the worker to change it for something else and he kindly did. I swapped it for a mango slushie, which had the same weird watery bitter lemon flavor, and again wasn’t sweet. The taro was slightly better but also had a weak flavor. This was the first time in my life I’ve asked for a drink to be remade, but it was either that or throw it away because there was no way I was going to drink it, it tasted awful. Total rip off. Advertised as 5.99 for a large tea. Figured my large classic milk bubble tea would be 5.99 plus maybe the extra 0.75 cents advertised for tapioca boba. Ended up being $11. When I asked why it was so expensive he said that it comes with 4 scoops of boba in it. They really need to show the prices of any featured drinks. Can’t believe a basic no frills bubble tea was $11. Signage/menu is misleading. They advertise regular and large. Regular priced tea $4.99. However, when you order, you're told they don't have regular sized drinks. Our bubble tea started at $7.95 or something like that... plus$1.50 for scoops of Boba. Not very helpful nor polite service; there was no attempt to explain the charges that totaled over$20...
