I’ve been getting the impression lately that true professionalism is gradually disappearing from the service industry. Whether it’s your painting contractor, your financial adviser, or your hairdresser, most times you brace yourself for a disappointment just in case. Not here! Weegee Hair Studio is a one-man operation, and this man unequivocally cares about doing his best every time. I get my hair trimmed and highlighted every 8 weeks or so. Initially, David started with one-color highlights, and I was perfectly happy with the result and asked for the same on my subsequent visits. After about a year, he suggested adding a second color variation to achieve a warmer look. I was initially resistant, but eventually he convinced me to try it. And the slight change he initiated was fantastic. David is the smartest hairdresser I’ve ever met; he seems to be a true expert in color chemistry and how the structure of your cut relates to your facial features. He does not just go thru the motions every time you sit down in his chair, but actually thinks about how he can further enhance your look in step with the evolving trends. David is an excellent hairstylist. I brought in photos of the type of haircut I wanted, and David took the time to customize it to flatter my face and explained why a certain length or proportion would work better with my hair texture and face shape. He asks questions like "how much time do you spend on your hair?" and "do you air dry or blow dry your hair?" to make sure he's giving me a cut and style that I can easily maintain on my own at home. David is absolutely magical at hair!! I’ve seen him on numerous occasions and I will never stop going to him! I had blonde hair last year and he did low lights in my hair perfectly to make the blonde pop. He never left any gold bands, which as a natural brunette is hard to do. Then, last week I went in and he dyed my hair back brunette and he completely matched my roots! I am shocked, but amazed. He also cut my hair to frame my face.
