I got a William and Sonoma card through Comenity to save 20% on a large purchase I made through them. I never received the card in the mail and after about a month noticed I never received a bill either. I went to the store and was given a number to call for the credit card. When I called the person on the phone was extremely short and rude. I was talked to like I was a complete degenerate that couldn't pay my bills.
Wait... I just called YOU to tell you I didn't get a card OR a bill... and I'm trying to pay you?
I asked to pay the balance in full and close the account. I had planned to pay the balance in full but only decided to close the account after the way the person talked to and treated me over the phone.
Fast forward to yesterday (almost two months after that interaction) and I get a phone call from what sounded like the exact same girl. Telling me I owed Comenity 3 late fee's for "unpaid bills", wait - what? I paid the balance in full and closed the account. She then tells me that I was charged a late fee for paying a bill 4 days late (that I never received and had to track down). Due to this, I was charged a late fee... Then another late fee... then another late fee.
Anyone that is a human should be able to look at these circumstances and see something isn't right here... I never received the card in the mail (and still never have)... I still to this day have not gotten one piece of mail for them... Since I don't have a card I can't set up an online account. There is literally no way for me to know that I have a bill with them. I was not getting through to this girl... She was like a stone wall... I would explain the situation to her and she would just tell me over and over again that I owed them money. After going in circles for 15 minutes I ask to speak with a supervisor and she replied: "no, you can talk to me... you have a bill that is due". I hung up and left it at that.
This company has zero interest in making this right because I closed my account with them. What an absolutely horrible experience and horrible company to do business with. We've had several accounts with William and Sonoma branded doors over the years and will never get another card through them again.
This company does nothing to protect itâs customers. The card company has a horrible rating with BBB whoâs got an F rating and over 500 complaints against them. Donât get the card and...
Read moreNormally people here are very attentive but my last shopping experience I was taken aback at the lack of help and, quite frankly, rude behavior. I walked in and there were about 4-5 associates and the GM standing at the entrance (probably having a touch base/changing shifts - this I had no issue with as it needs to be done). The greeting I got was "forced" - I felt they said because they had to, not because they wanted to welcome me into the store. I continued walking around looking for the items I wanted (for bread making). I couldn't find them so I walked up to the cash register where 2 associates were talking to each other. One was facing me the other was facing away from me. I literally stood there for a good minute before the woman finally decided to acknowledge that I was there. I asked about one item and both of them said they don't carry it and then continued to chat. I stood there, speechless, at this lack of respect and customer service since this location usually provides great service. I went about looking for my other items and grabbing a few things here and there. Once I had my hands full of product, the woman who initially ignored me now wanted to help and she got me a basket - I was thankful as I had too much to carry for just my hands. I picked up a few more items and in that time, the sales associate found one of the items I was looking for in the Bethesda location. I thanked her and went to check out. The total came to less than expected (I bought a couple of clearance items) and asked what prices changed. The clearance prices had not yet been marked down again. You have roughly 8 people working in this location the day I was there and you can't have someone marking down clearance??? I'm happy to see that WS is giving more hours to the stores so more than 2 people are working but having that many people should have warranted the price changes. I love WS and their products but some items are pricey. I don't mind paying more for some items as I think it is well worth it. However, I don't want to have to ask 10 times if a price is what it says. I'll be going back and will probably have a great experience but this one...

Took the item to the store were it should have been shipped (a kind individual returned the WRONGLY DELIVERED package to me) and instead of kindly exchanging the item I was scrutinized for not giving the item a âchanceâ. Not to mention after waiting patiently for an Hour and a Half to have the item returned...during that time the employees multiple times told me how the box is well packed and the item âshould be fineâ...and stood next to me loudly conversing how they were going to simply open the poorly delivered item and place it on the shelf to be sold to another customer who may or may not be buying a damaged item. Simple...
