Mattress Firm Apex Beaver Creek — Hotel in Apex

We had a fantastic experience at the Apex Mattress Firm. We walked in with 1 hour until closing and worked with Keith. We had absolutely 0 idea on what type of king size mattress we wanted as we currently had a 30 (yes THIRTY) year old mattress. Keith was incredibly patient, answered all our questions, and was so knowledgeable about the beds in the store. I never once felt like I was trying to be pushed into buying anything (which I HATE). And ultimately Keith was so good we ended up buying the adjustable base and a purple pillow which we really had no intention of purchasing but (without being pushy) showed us the benefits of them. When we came back in to make our purchase official 2 days later we worked with the store manager, Tom who helped us pick out an additional queen size mattress (also something we were not considering - but considering the good experience we had and great customer service from Keith we figured we would purchase with Mattress Firm). Tom worked with us to make sure we got everything we came in for and we walked out feeling like this mattress firm stood by their word and their customer service was simply excellent. Additionally delivery of the bed was insanely fast. The two guys who came to deliver the 2 mattresses and adjustable base were in and out in 10 minutes it was CRAZY! I wish they had moved us into to the house - they hustled! And I know fast could mean they’re doing things incorrectly but these guys were SOOO NICE! They came back in to check to make sure everything looked ok after assembly, and we had a question and they answered it so politely. Updated Review After Miserable Delivery Experience

Great experience overall! Friendly and knowledgeable staff and one of the only places to test the new Purple mattresses in the triangle.

The delivery of the mattress and base that we ordered is a different story. So I am updating my review to include this being there were several areas of concern.

First the delivery guys brought the wrong base into the house and started assembling it. I luckily caught the mistake and let them know before leaving. They disassembled and swapped out the correct base with the one we ordered which was on the truck.

Upon inspecting everything before they leave, we noticed there was a rip in the fabric on the base. The sales associate strongly suggested we deny the delivery because these items cannot be returned once they leave.

Naturally the delivery guys were pretty upset that they carried 2 bases up the stairs and assembled both, then had to disassemble both and carry them back down.

Being they left with our old bed, we slept on the floor that night.

The next day they attempted a redelivery which had a few hiccups in the arrival time. Then finally show up at around 8:00 pm on Sunday (Labor Day weekend) as we had guests over. The delivery was rushed and the guys kept telling up “they had 3 more deliveries to get to”. Ultimately, the right item showed up in good condition and we could finally use our new bed.

I was so very impressed by the service and knowledgeability of MR. GAVIN DAVIS. I thought I had done my homework when I arrived at Mattress Firm. Gavin was nice, easy going, didn't hard sell me. Rather, Gavin listened to my health issues then went about picking out exactly what I was looking for... a PURPLE 3 BED! He gave me a fair deal (we know Purples don't discount well)! For some reason I wanted to buy from Gavin and thus Mattress Firm and before I know it he had everything arranged and answered all my questions. All in all (and being a Customer Service Instructor for a major Airline), I can tell you you have a wonderful representative in GAVIN DAVIS. I put buying a bed right up there with ironing and changing oil in my car, but Gavin made it a very pleasant trip finding the perfect bed for me through listening and connecting, and my buying decision is all tied in with a nice, friendly, representative named Gavin.
