I just had the best, I mean the best and heart warming shopping experience at this cold stone in Apex on beaver creek commons Ct.
My friends and I were trying to surprise our great friend in Cary, NC, by sending her a surprise birthday cake. Being in California, we can't find a bakery anywhere in the cart/apex area that will make a photo cake and will deliver until I call this Cold Stone - their cake printer is functional, can make a photo cake within 24 hours and the staff, naming Maddie, were super nice, attentive and patient with me over the phone. Great! One big problem... the company doesn't deliver, BUT she told me about this delivery service 919 dine could help. Solved! Long story short, we end up running into various problems, and there were numerous phone exchanges back and forth (to a point I'm embarrassed to call so many times) but Maddie was very patient, friendly and helpful on every call. The store manager Daniel Rogers even called me personally to understand what was needed, walked us through the process and made sure that we were well accommodated! On delivery day, everything went great, the cake (looked exactly as we've asked for with all the special requests added in) was ready, picked up and delivered on time... my friend wasn't home!!!! LOL It was too hot to leave the ice cream cake on her doorstep, so they have to bring the cake back to the apex Cold stone! I called the store to ask for help, and Jerry at the store again was extremely patient, sympathetic to my problem and tried his best to help! He followed up with me throughout the process and the cake eventually got delivered and the birthday girl were pleasantly surprised! Mission accomplished!!
Maddie, Daniel and Jerry, thank you so so much for providing above and beyond customer service, you guys made all of our days!!! I recommend everyone to go to this store to experience their excellent, friendly and...
Read morePoor customer service. Seems like the establishment is hiring a bunch of teens that do not care about the presentation of the products made. Went in tonight for a regular Surrender to Strawberry in a waffle cone bowl. The young man (blond hair) basically scooped a tiny amount of ice cream, added 2 strawberries, and a tiny piece of cake and made a poor attempt to mix up the creamery. Then puts this mixture into a waffle cone, although I said waffle bowl. Then, scoops the very loose creamery out of cone to transfer iinto a bowl. Leaves a good amount of ice cream in the cone and gives me this poor excuse of a bowl of creamery mush. A peer (a female with blonde hair) interjects herself after I say, “ I feel like a good amount of ice cream was left in the cone”. She then says, “ what size did you get?”. I answer, “regular”….She then says “ yes, that’s definitely our regular amount”. She then scoops up a tiny (maybe a teaspoon) worth of ice cream and mixes it up and adds it to my bowl. All that I can say is WOW!!!!!! I just had no words. I live in the community where this shop is and often go there, but that changes today. 8.00 dollars for a poor excuse of what was supposed to be tonight’s desert. Wasn’t even worth eating and went into the trash. Poor representation of how to respectfully treat anyone. Shame on the managers of the Apex, NC store for leaving your business to children to run. Ones that do not care about your customers,...
Read moreI recently moved to Apex from another city in North Carolina, and one of our cherished family routines—me, my husband, and our two kids—is grabbing Cold Stone on Fridays. As usual, we were looking forward to our “Love It” and “Like It” orders and searched for the nearest Cold Stone location, which led us here.
Unfortunately, this visit was very disappointing. The first thing I noticed was how dirty the ground was outside—something I’ve never experienced at Cold Stone locations in cities like NYC, San Francisco, and other parts of North Carolina. When my son opened the door, I immediately noticed the counter walls inside were blackened with grime and visibly dirty. It was enough for me to stop him and say, “Let’s go.”
What really sealed the experience was what we noticed today while driving past—there’s a black rat trap box placed right outside the storefront. This, along with the unsanitary conditions, is extremely concerning and reflects poorly on the brand.
I hope management takes action to restore the cleanliness and standards expected of a Cold Stone Creamery. Right now, it’s simply...
