TN Nails — Local services in Apex

If I could give a negative star rating, I would. Not only did the nail tech take a dremel type nail file to my actual nails, it was one that didn't have a removable file, and he went into my real nail under the gel polish multiple times. He even managed to get my finger. When I kept pushing for him to stop he didn't, and told me to relax, then when he finally did, it was right before my last finger which had additional coats on it because the nail tech from the previous salon I'd gone to decided to fix a chip by piling more polish onto the remaining coat. But that's another story. When I let him know this, he assumed I meant I had a gel nail and went even harder on that nail. When I stopped him to correct him he argued with me about what I said, and then essentially said this was all my fault because of how long my actual nails were, that the nail place I went to before used thicker coats. When I tried to pay for the removal because I refused to let them proceed further, I was told they didn't take cards for $5. I should have been comped, instead I added a $2 tip. Do....

I have been going to the shop for over 7 years and for the most part I've been treated with respect. I have noticed that their treatment of me has declined. This time when I tried to set an appointment I was told that an appointment was not able to be made. And I was told that I had to come in first come first serve. I followed instructions about how to get seen by the person that does my nails and I was treated terribly. I am very disappointed with this experience and will no longer use this business or recommend them. I feel personally discriminated against. Maybe its because I am black. Katie, thanks for nothing. I was a little reluctant to come here to get my nails done after reading the reviews. I have to say I am so happy that I decided to come here and give this salon a try!! Vincent did my Spa Pedicure and my SNS nails. His pedicure was amazing! And his attention to detail when it came to my fingernails was second to none! I have been getting SNS nails for over a year now and I have had my share of both good and bad nail service and his expertise was spot on! I will continue to go back to this salon and yes ask for Vincent! The whole staff was great! And am sure each of them are as skilled as the tech I had! I highly recommend!...
