Nothing but a bad experience here. Decided to go out to eat for 4th of July. We had received an email deal from Red Robin about $10 for burgers/fries/soda. Ordered our sodas (family of 4) and was then told we could not use that deal because of some vague wording in the ema. Waitress spoke to the manager and they were reluctant to even honor the deal. Ordered our food and still did not receive after 30 minutes. Food finally came which was fine, however the waitress brought more soda and SPILLED the entire soda all over me. My shirt, shirts and brand new iPhone were completely soaked. Understandably the waitress was in shock and apologizing profusely. While I could have gotten angry I kept my cool and told her not to worry about it and life happens or something like that. The real kicker is they still had the nerve to bring us the bill (only slightly reduced) and all the napkins and towels they gave me to clean up they just left on the table and never cleaned them up. Manager asked if we wanted free dessert which we agreed to, however after 20 minutes it never came, all the while sitting in a soaked booth in a complete mess. They never even bothered to clean up the spilled soda on the floor or even offer to have us sit in another booth during this ordeal. I finally told the manager this is ridiculous and refused to pay the bill which she accepted but then just said have a nice day and walked away without an apology. Long drive home covered in sticky clothes with my brand new phone and case soaked with soda. Not happy. Yes I understand mistakes happen, fact of life, but the way they handled it after was a joke. Read moreThis place used to be a great choice for a relaxed lunch, burger with hubby or apps and cocktails at the bar with a girlfriend. Not anymore. Last 2 times i went in i had the worst experience. The last straw was yesterday. Husband and i stopped in while doing errands. Figured we would just sit at bar. We sat for 10 min with no acknowledgement from bartender. We gave up, went to hostess and said we would opt for table due to lack of service. Her response was not an apology but instead was a nasty look and a "well he's busy". We let it go and were seated. Things continued downward. It took 15 min for a waitress to stop by table. We put in order and proceeded to wait ....again. We got app before we got our drinks. When we finally got our food it was ice cold and had to go back. Eventually we got the bill and to our surprise not one thing was comp or taken off. We checked out using ziosk and then had the girl tell us it didn't go through and she needed us to pay through her. We gave ger the cc. She comes back and says it was declined-which diesnt hapoen with amex. She ran using another card while i accessed my amex account. In my account i see the charge so niw i had paid twice-for worst experience ever. The manager came over and told a story of computer problems blah, blah, blah. Read moreI gave 2 stars, instead of 1, only because the manager was polite and kind after my experience. I arrived after (I would assume) the busy time, Friday around 9pm, and had to wait to be seated because 60% of tables were waiting to be cleaned. Of course my daughters wanted to play games on the tablet, I wish they would have informed me the fee for playing them. We needed refills, and my kids needed refills for their bottomless dinners and I sat, for 20 minutes, looking around for my server. I finally asked another server to get the manager to help. When our server finally came by, she just walked right by and didn't say anything. I've worked in the restaurant industry, I know it's tough, but as a previous server I can advice, no matter the situation, just apologize and acknowledge your customers! I was so upset for having to wait for drink refills, and food. Then to have her just walk by and not say amything. The manager apologized and put the food in to go boxes, with everything needed, which was enough to fix the problem, but I won't be back....I saw no guarantee that it wouldn't...
