Edit: i changed my mind about how I feel about this business after reading the reviews and I donât think Iâll be coming back, honestly. I went through customer reviews stating their drinks tasted watered down just for them to come back saying âlet us find something you DO like,â okay? What if she LOVES matcha? YOURS tastes watered down. You get what Iâm saying? Iâm not supporting a passive-aggressive company that canât take criticism. Another customer stated they have a disability and canât drink cold or carbonated beverages, couldnât get a non-iced drink, so they asked for light ice and were given terrible service not accommodating their LIGHT ice request. You know what their response was? âIf we knew you had a disability we couldâve done that.â Nothing about the disrespect coming from the employee. No accountability taken whatsoever. Itâs disgusting. See photos for details on reviews. I'm still craving that Sugar Crunch Latte. I can't wait to come back and get it again soon!! A small is a little on the pricier side, but SO worth getting such a unique, amazing tasting iced coffee. I love how the sugar pieces dissolve and infuse the coffee with more flavor over time. I loved everything about the Matcha Crème Croffle as well, super fresh and was made when I arrived. The matcha crème is SO creamy, matcha forward, rich, and not too sweet. Mochi on the side was definitely the way to go! The white chocolate curls I added were the perfect touch for a bit of...
Read moreI ordered a drink and asked for no ice. I have a medical condition, a disability and canât have cold or carbonated drinks. The employee taking the order said she wasnât allowed to do no ice. I asked her if the drink came in a hot or warm form or just cold, she said itâs just a cold drink.
I didnât like being Discriminated against for my disability. If there was an issue because of financial loss for the restaurant, she couldâve just stated well then weâll only be able to fill the cup 3/4 or to a certain point. That still wouldâve been fine because I wouldâve been able to drink it.
Instead, I had to take the drink home and let it get to warm temperature, room temperature, but the ice made it very watery tasting and disgusting tasting really. I would have liked to enjoy it there with friends. I will be going back to the many places that donât have a problem making my beverage with no ice, allowing me to enjoy friends while enjoying a beverage I can have.
I also asked for light ice, the gentleman filled it to the top loaded with ice, I asked him if he could please make it light ice (as ordered)and he took just a few pieces out. Perhaps they are instructed by the owners to ignore delight I situation or at least thatâs what it felt like.
In my opinion terrible customer service and a...
Read moreI went to Sweet Talk CafÊ and I enjoyed it so much that I just can't stop thinking about my next trip back! The coffee tastes amazing and the food is very unique and delicious. I ended up getting a Vanilla Lavender Latte which was a 5/5 and had a very good mix of Lavender that was not too overpowering at all. I also ordered the Matcha Love Bingsoo 5/5, which I have never had such a fun Korean dessert before. It has to be one of my favorite desserts I have had the pleasure of enjoying within the Raleigh area. The shaved ice/ice cream melted the moment you ate it and the mochi sprinkled around it was a very yummy surprise and tasted great!
The service is amazing and they were very vocal about their menu when asked. They always smiled and seemed to be having a lot of fun with what they were doing, which provided a lot of positive energy to the entire atmosphere.
The Interior and design of the cafĂŠ is very beautiful and clean with an all white look and natural wood tones. They had a lot of cute stuffed animals around which provided some fun scenery for both adults and children. They even use cat coasters for their drinks which adds more to the fun aspect!
Overall, I will be coming back to this cafĂŠ a lot to enjoy a coffee and to work/study. It is by far one of my favorite cafes...
