Not just Kohl's Apex but the company really. Wanted to buy two new King Comforter sets and was at the Fuquay store yesterday and bought one but they didn't have the second one I wanted. Great price, $229 on sale for $129 plus got $40 of the Kohl's cash. Associate there checked and noted that Apex had the other color we wanted. So, today I go online to order, pay and plan to pick up later today and whoa, it's now $229!. With the K-cash it's $189. Had the associate told me the sale was a one day event, I would have driven to Apex last night or bought online to get that price ...plus more K-cash but nooooo. So I go in good faith to Apex and pickup the now high-priced, same product that I bought yesterday assuming logic would prevail and they would help me out on the price but no. No go. Sorry this happened but we can't adjust the price. So I ended up paying $60 more for the same product (different color) and I lost another $30 in K-Cash. Customer impact made. This weekend we'll be going to Belk, etc. etc. until I find a pair of these I like then these are going back to Kohl's. I can change my buying habits with so many choices around. ...
Read moreI can hardly find anything good here. As an average sized woman, I'm always disappointed at Kohl's because the ladies section doesn't have any tops that fit me. I'm not super tiny but their smalls and even extra smalls are too big! I can fit into the clothes in the juniors section but they don't have a good selection for an adult. The clothing seems very unfashionable, with many of the styles in the ladies section basically the same as they were 5 years ago. The only good thing about kohl's is the home goods. They have a good selection of curtains and some other nice stuff. But. If you buy anything here that's not on sale, you're getting ripped off. The sale price is what the cost should have been in the first place. Really annoying way to do business.
This location is not the best, they need some signs to help you find stuff in the store, maybe a sign showing what stuff is upstairs vs downstairs. July and the swimsuit selection is basically nothing. They barely had any shoes in my size (8) when I went...
Read moreI recently made a purchase in the men’s department at Kohl’s in Apex. There were sign toppers on the items that said, “Take an additional 25% off the sale price.” However, when I went to pay, the additional discount was not applied.
I approached customer service for assistance and was initially met with skepticism. We walked back to the items together, and both clearly displayed the “Take an additional 25% off” sign. Despite this, the department manager offered no assistance and simply suggested that I go online to find a regular coupon that everyone gets. That doesn’t apply to items I purchased.
The manager also mentioned they would check the department first thing in the morning to ensure there were no misplaced sign toppers. This experience was a clear example of poor customer service. I’m not looking for anything extra, just to pay the advertised price. It’s disappointing that Kohl’s did not take better care of their customers.
