I revisited this place recently . I was a bit perplexed and concerned at how the blond cook and bartender did not use gloves when she was cooking orders . I had ordered a n/a drink and was looking at the menu . Iâve never seen a cook handle the meats with their bare hands , wipe their hands on their clothes & handle the food products and frying utensils without gloves. It made me skeptical of eating anything. I had not visited this place in years . Iâve never seen a chef handle the food as such putting mayo in the bread with no gloves and putting the cheese on the burger the same .Scratching their ear & then serving the food . Also she went and ate food from the bar while she was doing all of this . I saw her wash her hands once however there was so much going on with the few orders I feel she should just focus on one job & allow the other staff member to do the cooking . Every place has their own way of running business however I know culinary etiquette . With the cooking area being some close to the bar itâs ease to see how the food is being handled . Maybe this happens here and people are cool with it but Iâm not . Gave me a bad taste , the other bar tender also did not use gloves when she put an order of chicken in the fryer and she had contact with the food . đ. How is also rubbing your hands on a damp towel while making a burger sufficient enough for sanitizing ? Even bars should meet code expectations I would want my food handled better in order to eat here...
Read moreBummed that the 2 bartenders ignored us on a very calm Saturday night, never acknowledge us. Our only competition for service was the 6 local other guests with full drinks in hand. After a full 20 minutes of waiting for one of the 2 bartenders wrap up there personal conversations, we decided to make our presence notice only to be ignored.
Is this a self-serve beverage bar? I work in the hospitality industry and my patients are very very tolerable. But with a when bartenders are "questionable" participating in the spirit & a guest has to call the bartender over to take care of you, that's wrong?
When we finally got the the male bartender's attention, we were met with the reply of "I'm not working, I'm off the clock and I'm talking to my friends who Ive not seen a long time". Well, sorry for me inconveniencing you sir..... but I came in your establishment to spend my hard earned bartending money comrade.
long story short is please acknowledge your guests presence. Your staff didn't seem to care so we left and went next door to a much higher class your place called Jim's Place. Thank you Jim's Place if he's so awesome and well-deserving of my...
Read moreI was pretty impressed with the set up and my drink wasnât bad at all, I was on the other hand very disappointed with my burger. My friends burger came out pretty nice but had no flavor to it what so ever. During our order the server didnât even ask how we wanted our burgers done. I take a couple bites of my burger and when I looked down all I could see was pink almost red. Donât get me wrong I do like to have my burger with some pink, just not raw. Their onion rings were the only part of my meal that I actually enjoyed. Also their âmozzarella sticksâ are just a stick of string cheese wrapped in wonton wrappers, kinda threw me off guard a little bit not gonna lie. Normally Iâm the kind of person that would leave a good tip no matter what but the fact that my burger looked like it was cooked for two minutes...
