Houdini Plaza — Attraction in Appleton

Honestly, not too much going on here during the winter. During the summer however you can catch live music every Thursday. I also need to mention that mile of music sets up a stage here too. I watched some bands play here for Mile of Music. The sound was great! It was well-equipped with port-o-johns, and there was ample room for kids to run around and adults to sit and enjoy. Plus, it's smack dab in the middle of the downtown district, near tons of great food, drink, and retail establishments. Makes me want to move...

Nice area problem resides where motorists in town blare their car stereos or rev their engines purposely to be heard. That's a problem when this area is rented for events and speakers may be talking or singing. Appleton apparently doesn't care about excessive engine noise downtown.. cars without mufflers.. hip...
