2 things you should know before reading this review: I'm the best reviewer on Google & my high rating has nothing to do with the fact that I've only eaten a few gummy bears today.
I'm glad I ordered here, this is one of my first experiences with Asian delivery in Appleton. I got the General Tsao's chicken dinner combo (served with pork friend rice and an egg roll), a large steamed rice and two additional egg rolls. The food showed up quick, it only took like 25 or 30 minutes which is surprising because I think the delivery guy drove an Acura; everyone knows Nissan and Chevrolet are the best. The chicken was a bit on the pale side, usually the General's chicken is served smothered in a dark, robust orange-ish sauce concoction. I was a bit worried about how this would affect flavor but I was pleasantly surprised at how radical the flavor was. It wasn't the best I've had, but I'm definitely not complaining by any means. Everything was hot as hell temperature wise - that's always a plus but don't let the spicy warning on the website fool you- I've eaten spicier donuts. My total came to just shy of 15 bucks and I have leftovers which is surprising considering how hungry I was. Bottom line- the taste is good and the value is great. I'd absolutely let my dog watch me crush 3 pounds of this...
Read moreTruly terrible customer service. I could not tell you if the food is good or not because I did not ever get the chance to order. And I tried more than once. I waited at the counter to place an order for several minutes and was ignored by the cashier while she called out orders being picked up. She did not acknowledge my presence directly in front of her even once. Then, another employee came up behind her and began taking orders from people standing in line behind me. I went home and tried to place an order on the phone, but there is a $15 minimum. The employee (assuming it was the same woman who ignored me) was exceedingly short with me over the phone and when I tried to explain my earlier disappointment and ask for help, she hung up on me. The only thing positive I could say is that it’s cheap, because I couldn’t find enough appetizer type items to bring my bill above $15 and make it worth it. I have not been treated so poorly in a long while. This is clearly a place that does not value your business. NYC Chinese takeout employees are more...
Read moreWe ordered delivery on Eat Street. We paid for shrimp egg rolls & got vegetable & they were soggy, cold and old tasting. The Sweet & Sour Pork was mostly batter with about half the order only batter balls with no meat at all. The shrimp in the Shrimp & Broccoli was spoiled and so far gone that the smell when we opened the container was horrible. The Chicken Mei Fun was mostly noodles which were mushy with maybe 5 little pieces of chicken. The Kung Po water chestnuts were stored in the can and tasted like tin and the sauce was bland. The quart of Shrimp Fried rice had 6 tiny shrimp in it, and yes I counted and nothing else but yellow rice. Even the white rice was gross! Cold, hard and dry to the point of crunchy! It was obviously packed into the containers hours before we ordered. Unbelievably bad! Can I give...
