I recently tried out an electric charging station near Massachusetts Avenue and Water Street, and I'm here to tell you all about it in simple terms:

Great Location: This charging station is perfectly placed near the corner of Massachusetts Avenue and Water Street. It's super convenient if you're in the area, and you don't have to go out of your way to get there.

Easy to Use: The screen on this thing could be a little easier to figure out. It's not the end of the world, but it took me a bit to get the hang of it.

Charged Really Fast: Here's the exciting part: this charging station gave my EV a whopping 173 kW charge speed. That means it fills up your car's battery pretty darn quick. Not the fastest ever, but it gets the job done in no time.

Clean and Neat: The station and the area around it are kept clean and tidy. It's nice to charge up your car in a well-kept place.

Caveat emptor! I was charged $8 in "idling fees" when I picked my 2020 Chevy Bolt when it was 30 MILES BENEATH ITS MAXIMUM CHARGE! To add insult to injury, the EA ahem "customer service" agent hung up on me before she settled the matter AND THEN I had to wait 15 minutes to be connected to the next agent.

Please don't get me wrong: I am a true believer in EVs and an early adopter with years of EV ownership. I am in a period of transition when I do not have a home charge to rely on, however - and these Arlington Center Electrify America chargers ARE NOT RELIABLE! I would not register this complaint against Electrify America more broady either - other charge have served me well and without incidence throughout the Northeast. These Arlington chargers are SKETCHY, though - watch your receipts if you don't want...
