First of all, I’m not a hater to this restaurant. I regularly buy food from Mr. Sushi and I appreciated their work under this pandemic. But recently, their number stops working and it is frustrating as customers who are outside standing and waiting, unable to contact the staffs about our arrival or to make any special request on food.

I gave one star is reasonable. For any business owners, it is essential to have a valid reachable business number during their operation time. It is also understandable under certain condition, the phone number is not reachable. But it is important to inform the customers about the situation by simply sticking a note on the window or post any announcement online.

Unfortunately, I have to gave one star review to Mr. Sushi because they failed to fix the phone issue again and with no explanation, allowing this happen for a long time. In addition, I had scheduled a specific pick-up time on Grubhub. But they failed to acknowledged it. Instead, they called me 30 minutes earlier than the schedule time. When I stopped by the restaurant to pick it up, I have to wait outside and knock the window pretty hard because again, their number is not reachable. I saw the staff was not picking up phone call from other customers. She was just standing there and looking at the monitor in front of her. Eventually, when she realized my knock on the window, she put my food at the door and did not say a word. She immediately turned around.

Lastly, I know everyone is experiencing a hard time under pandemic but I hope Mr. Sushi notice the importante of having a valid phone number is the fundamental step to open a restaurant. Especially under this pandemic, the phone number is the only way to communicate with customers and please treat customers with proper...

mr. sushi is one of my all time favorite restaurants in the area! specifically for sushi, bibimbap, and japchae. the staff are wonderful and the restaurant is clean as well.

the sushi is always fresh and delicious. the sushi portions are more generous than other places in the area; over the past 10 years the size of sushi, particularly maki, has been waning, but not at mr. sushi. im grateful for this, especially since its some of the most delicious sushi in the area. the fish and vegetables are always fresh and the rice is consistently perfectly seasoned and freshly cooked.

i also very much love the kopdol bibimbap here. beef bibimbap is my go-to here. tofu is also great! super delicious, bunch of generous sides, nice beef, nice kimchi. i wish the egg was less cooked, but i know thats probably a choice to cater to americans. the dish is great if youre dining in, but i wouldnt get this dish as take out, for obvious reasons that you dont get the crispy rice, but also because they mix it all up in the container, which i think completely completes the point of the bibimbap. i ordered this as take out 3 separate times since their dining room was closed during covid and opened again only recently. i kept ordering it, expecting it was just a mistake, but i guess their take out bibimbap is just this way. so dine in bibimbap 10/10, take out bibimbap 3/10.

beef japchae here is also super delicious. its everything i want in beef japchae, never...

Mr. Sushi has quickly become our favorite local spot! Perfectly situated on the corner, it's an amazing find for residents and anyone hopping off the Minuteman Trail for a bite. What stands out immediately is the quality of the food. The sushi is exceptionally fresh, beautifully made, and comes in generous portions. You can tell they pay attention to detail, as the seasoning is always perfectly balanced. The prices are very reasonable, typically ranging from $13 to $25, and their daily specials are always a treat worth checking out. Beyond the food, the service is a real highlight. The owners and waitstaff are incredibly attentive, constantly making sure water glasses are filled and accommodating any special needs with a smile. The atmosphere is welcoming, with plenty of seating for couples, groups of adults, or families with kids. Just a heads-up that it's street parking, but it's well worth it for the experience. We will absolutely be going back again and can't...

Overall, it was good. The interior was simple and modern. As for the food, the sushi was average. Nothing spectacular with decent choices. I had better. What shined was the rolls. Their rolls were flavorful and well presented. One more thing: they are bite sized. What I like about eating sushi and rolls in Japan is that each piece is bite-sized to be eaten in one bite. Many sushi bars in America have the sizes wrong. They are so big one had to break apart a piece to eat it. This is so wrong. Anyhow, their sushi and rolls are bite sized as they should be. For those who want quantity, the portion size may be considered smaller than other comparable places, but for us, it was perfect. Not too much and not too little.
