This place is the best, and the only place I will shop for wine and beer in Arlington anymore. The staff and owners are super friendly, know their customers' names and tastes, and so try their best to accommodate. They have a great wine tasting every Saturday early eve, that is far above average of what most stores offer, right down to the long-stemmed glasses (and the environmentalist in me really appreciates that, rather than plastic cups), which adds to the experience and is a nice, classy touch. They also have cheese and crackers and a lot of regulars there, so it feels like a nice little social event to cap a Saturday off before dinner. They also do a Friday beer tasting that's nice as well (and they let me bring my own reusable cup for that), with nuts and goldfish to snack on. I feel like I have found some of my new favorites wines here that I never would have discovered otherwise. They also seem to specialize in sustainable and organic wines, which again, really resonates with me. They're also both dog- and kid-friendly (they do Santa pics every Christmas) and though I have neither kids nor dogs, I really enjoy petting people's pooches, seeing the kids snack down on their cheese/crackers, and the overall welcoming atmosphere This place is more than a store but a...

They go out of their way to remember your name. There is a lot of wine to choose from, a few spirits, and a small beer case. The fun thing about the beer is that it's always rotating with something new to pick from.
On Friday nights there is a free beer tasting featuring four different choices that rotate weekly. What else could you ask for. Stop on your way home, try some beer in a relaxed non busy atmosphere and then pick up a bottle of wine and a 6 pack for a great start...
Read moreI LOVE this place!!! It's a lovely store, everyone there is so nice and knowledgeable. And everyone that works there are dog lovers too! A man that works there on the weekends named Terry is incredibly nice, very helpful with wine selection, and my puppy loves him. He is a wonderful part of that store, I hope the owners know how valuable he is! I highly recommend this place! As I always mention in my reviews when relevant, going here supports a small, local, independently owned business.
Try to support small local businesses as much as you can! (I will always indicate when businesses are minority...
