Maxima Gift & Book Center and Maxima Hive — Local services in Arlington

This is a great little gift and book store! It has something for everyone, but it especially has great gifts for kids. The owners are very nice people, and they have a great staff. Their book selection is small, but they have an excellent array of cooking books for sale.

I go in there regularly for their selection of greetings calls for all kinds of people and occasions. The prices are very reasonable, and they have a loyalty program. In order to use a credit card, you must spend at least $10, but you can do that with a small "gift" or two for yourself even if you buy one inexpensive greeting card.

The store is compact with lots of items. It is always neat and clean and nicely organized. It's easy to practice social distancing, and there is hand sanitizer at the front door.
