I don’t know who could possibly call the little bitty tiny pieces and char-broiled lamb jerky a Gyro, but this place does. The extra Taziki couldn’t even soften this charcoal style meat. What happened to slices from the drum? You won’t get them here. This was an test order since Greek Corner was closed. This mistake will never be replicated. I’ll order McDonalds or Pizza Hut instead for $40, instead of this charred dehydrated dead meat on a pita for $80. Their Taziki was nice, everything else, terrible. Only non Greeks would repeat a buy here because they just don’t know any better.

We had falafel, a Greek salad with chicken, and a gyro all of which were okay but nothing more; the gyro was a bit greasy and a rather short pita, not the large Guido that I'm accustomed to having in New York City or in European Greek restaurants. The atmosphere is that of neglected diner and the stuff when we were there was clearly not motivated, understandably given the absence of clients. In a Greek restaurant it's surprising to find all over the place signs advertising "tresleches cake" ;-)

The food was great. Fresh ingredients and solid pita. Order ahead, it sounds like they are still figuring it out the logistics. The first time we tried to go, we were told there was a 45 minute wait for food. We decided to go elsewhere. We tried again today and ordered ahead. The process was easy but we were still quoted 45-50 mins. To be fair we got our food in 30, but this seems excessive for gyros. Hope they figure it out as the food is good quality.

Please be patient for these employees. They have been only open for two weeks and are learning the menu and getting use to the work environment/doing their best to go as fast as they can so please don’t be rude or complain that the wait time is longer than expected.

I came in on April 26th during dinner and it was packed, they had so many orders (Togo, over the phone & online orders) everyone was working as hard as they could to make everyone happy and get the orders out as fast as they could. I know that people want to get their orders right away but people also have to learn that these employees are only humans and are working as fast as they can. This business is new and we can’t expect them to be robots. Huge shoutout to the tall girl who was wrapping up the food, and doing multiple positions she was very nice and very respectful in explaining how busy they were and trying to do the best to get the orders out. This is also a “soft opening”

One more thing if you place an order online and get a text that it is ready it’s false and the company is working with the business in trying to fix that glitch. For example if you place an order and you get a text saying that is ready within like 10-15 minutes I would just take a moment and call the restaurant and check just for the time being it doesn’t hurt to check instead of arriving at the restaurant and flipping out that it’s not ready. Again they are learning and doing their best to fix all flaws but again they are humans. I will be returning and telling everyone to come here.

This is a great restaurant & everyone was very sweet & good...

Fat Greek Arlington was so good at the beginning that I was raving about it to all my friends, but it's already declined, which makes me sad. I loved their chunky, juicy chicken souvlaki, but it's been re-conceived as scrawny, overcooked, dried out chicken bits on a stick, on half the rice there used to be. Huge mistake cheapening that recipe, what were they thinking? Another thing is they get minor aspects of take-out orders wrong about 75% of the time. Seriously, I'm not exaggerating. It's so predictable my wife and I crack up every time we get the bag home: especially missing tzatziki or salad dressing, but also extra breads, yellow fat sauce we never order, the wrong salad, missing side veggies, and on and on. We almost always order the same thing, and what we get is different each time. It's a running joke for us, but it also sucks when you're in the middle of your meal and there's no tzatziki because somebody misread your order. We now open the stapled bag at the restaurant to try to figure out the oversights before we leave, but that too is annoying. Hopefully things get tightened up, and we'll give Fat Greek a few more chances, but otherwise, we're shifting to the competition (Greek, Turkish, Lebanese) nearby. If things improve before then, we'll happily report it back here. We really miss the...

After visit in Greece, three times and dating a greek man in MA; by the way Arlington in Massachusetts is well known location for the Greek community. Hence, I was expecting more signs of ethnically from the restaurant.

As a customer you choose businesses to have the experience of food and cultural exchange of taste.

I tried Gyro at Greco before, and comparing to this restaurant I got meat flakes, not peaces, and a lot of fries.

I paid almost $16 for fries?

I dunno 🤷‍♀️ but the space didn’t tide me to greek welcomeness: yes, there was greek music, yes, clean restroom with blue colors, but in Thursday at 5pm it was empty and cold. I was aid 5-10 min, but then 5-7max, it was longer. When I asked to bring the “to go” outside while I was watching after my car, that didn’t happened. I needed to come inside to watch from there, as the food was laying next to “pick up point”, no one was looking for me.

I didn’t feel that “restaurant” wants me back. I’d better have a trip to Brighton than 5 min to this place, but I will feel the food, portion, the vibe, atmosphere. Maybe it’s me, but I care about such things. When you work hard, when you don’t go out or order take out, every time you appreciate food service...
