Olympic Pizza — Restaurant in Arlington

In the mood for a gyro, and not wanting to cook at all, We decided we wanted to try someplace new in Arlington. We ended up calling to place an order because their website said that they weren't taking online orders for some reason and it was only 7:00 at night. I thought that was a little weird.

But we ordered a small Fenway Park pizza with a side of onion rings. The pizza had onions sliced sausage and green peppers, the pizza was good I was almost like it had a thick crust like it was a Chicago style, but not necessarily deep dish. We then ordered a gyro And there was an option for a plate or to have it wrapped up and that's what we are initially looking for was it to be in a pita. My wife said she gave it an 8 out of 10, one of the best gyros she's ever had. A little bit too much lettuce but it was still wicked good. I ordered Olympic Pizza for the first time tonight through the app DoorDash. What a mistake that was! DoorDash completely ruined my order that I waited an hour to have delivered to my home. When I called Olympic Pizza to let them know about the issues with my order they were so understanding and eager to make it right. Mind you, it was DoorDash that made the mistake! But Olympic Pizza remade my order and a I picked it up 10 minutes later. The pizza was super tasty but really, it's the service that was so impressive to me. The staff were friendly and kind and it was each of their attitudes that turned what was a very bad experience into such a great experience. So they have a Large Gluten Free Cheese Pizza on their menu. I called and ordered one and they gladly accepted the order and told me to get it in 20 minutes. I gave them over a half an hour before I got their. In d I got their first asked for my order and the lady was totally confused as if she never heard of a gluten free pizza before. She finally gave my this tiny little box and told me they don't make a large gluten free pizza because they are too hard to make. So all they could make was a small thin piece of something and called it a pizza. Maybe they should learn how to make a gluten free pizza before they offer it in their menu.
