BEST TJ MAXX! We've been to a lot of different TJ MAXX stores around the country. Every time we are visiting the US from Germany, TJ Maxx is on our bucket list no matter where we are, hence we've probably been to close to 40-50 different locations, yet this one is special. Firstly, it was well organized, neat and clean. Despite the cleanliness, the selection of items was incredible. In some stores you have the feeling that there's only leftovers, but in this store the racks were filled and our cart filled up very quickly. Yet the significance of the store was not the choice of items but it was the warm and friendly service we've received. Nowadays, no matter where you go unfortunately it's very hard to find good and sincere service, and you certainly wouldn't expect hospitable service it in a store like TJ MAXX, where the employees are neither paid tips nor I suppose do they receive a specific commission for giving their customers recommendations. The moment we entered the store right after the opening of the doors, we were greated warmly by the staff. As the items of clothing were piling up over our arms, a lady offered us a cart which certainly was very much needed. Browsing through tge aisles, we were offered any assistance if needed. While trying on the clothes for nearly an hour, the staff was very patient and friendly despite us not taking a lot of the things we tried on. Lastly we've received great service during our checkout. A special thank you to Taylor and Yvette for providing us with such a memorable experience, we didn't stop talking about how unexpected our experience was all day. And also much appreciation for the manager on duty that day, unfortunately the name of the lady slipped my mind.

Read moreI had a really frustrating and stressful experience at this location. I came in hoping to try on a few items, only to find out that the fitting rooms were closed. When I asked staff members about it, I was given conflicting information—first I was told they were “short staffed” then we asked a cashier and she said “oh I don’t know why we closed it we usually close it at 9:30” which obviously looks like no one knew what they were doing or there’s just lack of communication/training. Later on to find out they close it at 8pm but I was there before that time along with a friend and another customer waiting around. It honestly felt like they were just trying to avoid dealing with customers, and the lack of transparency made the whole situation worse. Shopping for clothes without being able to try anything on is already inconvenient, let alone customers were trying things on outside on the mirrors which honestly looks so bad for the public. Being mis-led by the staff added unnecessary stress to what should’ve been a simple shopping trip. Really disappointing. On top of that on our way out, the cashier did not explain about the red tags clearance items so another staff member explained that to us which honestly baffled me because if I were to take that tag off at home thinking it was a sensor, and due to the fitting rooms being CLOSED , what if the clothes won’t fit? Read moreI visited TJ Maxx around 9 PM yesterday to shop in the jewelry section. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. I waited several minutes for assistance, and when I finally asked for help, an associate named Nikia S came over with a very disrespectful and unprofessional attitude. She made me feel like I was an inconvenience rather than a valued customer. When I requested to see a bracelet, the associate brought it over with an attitude that was extremely rude and disrespectful. She simply held it up and asked, “Do you want to buy this or not?” without even allowing me to properly look at it or try it on. She rushed me into a purchase I did not want, which later caused both financial and emotional distress when I realized the bracelet did not fit. I strongly urge management to review the cameras from September 3rd around 9 PM to see how poorly this situation was handled. As someone with years of experience in customer service and store management, I can confidently say this behavior is unacceptable and highly unprofessional.
