I ordered a Detroit style pizza from NightHawk today, and they made my pizza incorrectly without the toppings I asked for, nor the sauce on the pizza.
I call to tell them how I inconveniently had to wait for 25 minutes for a pizza that was not done correctly and that I would PAY for the pizza at the “discounted rate” (assuming it was reasonable) but the manager William said the discount would be 25% off ( the employee discount, $3 off) He did not insist on making a new pizza, like typical pizzeria we all know would do if the pizza was not made correctly. He actually told me to hold on and charged me more!!! He literally charged me more when I asked him why the discount was so low. I can’t make this up, it’s crazy the customer service here. Horrible.
I hear him ask the cook if they put hot honey on the pizza (which is one of the toppings) and the sauce, and he said no they forgot.
Then, on top of all of that, WILLIAM decided to tell me to stop swearing. I did NOT use one swear word, NOT ONE, but clearly he was around people that he wanted to make sure they heard he was some sort of victim on this call. I’m literally in shock that a manager at Nighthawk Pizza, that we buy pizza from so often, was that hysterical.
We never had a new pizza remade. He kept the argument going until he hung up on us. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and the WORST customer service. Nighthawk pizza lost a loyal customer.
I will no longer be purchasing any pizza from here. Good luck getting your order right, and if it’s wrong, good luck trying to get another. From your fellow New Yorker, this pizza wasn’t all that great. It was...
Read moreWe decided to go to Nighthawk Pizza for dinner on opening day. It was an excellent experience! The menu seems to be a work in progress, with a single starter and a few desserts, but our pizza and salad were amazing. The staff was also lovely. The hostess who welcomed us showed us around, explained how their ordering system and seating work, and offered us board games for the table. When the salad came with a dressing that my wife couldn't eat for dietary reasons, the server immediately brought us several alternatives.
What to know before you go: -- Nighthawk has open seating, so you walk in, grab a table, order through an app, and close out your tab when you want to. The entire experience was seamless (and contactless!)
-- The space is "90's themed," think The Max (Saved by the Bell), with several TVs positioned so you can see a game wherever you sit
-- You can borrow board games (for free) to play at your table as a group or play several arcade games in the back (e.g., Street Fighter)
-- There is a mix of outdoor and indoor seating, with indoor seating ranging from a beer garden setup (e.g., picnic tables or long communal tables) to bar seating and small tables
Overall, definitely the best pizza place in this part of Arlington and a...
Read moreThis was the first time my fiancé and I came here. First off, love the vibe! The interior is very fun. This is a good place for people that want to hangout and be low key and watch a game. VERY CHILL.
Second, everything is electronic. There’s a QR code at every table. You can order and pay right where you are and they will bring it straight to you. You can even order refills from your phone. If you are an introvert, this is your dream restaurant.
Now the reason why you are reading this: the food. Ok I’m PARTICULAR about my local pizza. I’m a Ledos girl, been that way for over a decade. Down the totem pole is Paisanos and then Fireworks. Well Nighthawk has moved to the top of my list!
Thin crust. The pizza has hangtime and some cheese pull action. The sauce to cheese ratio is solid. THEY DIDNT BURN THE EDGE OF THE PIZZA CRUST(arguably my favorite part). My fiancé said the beer was really good.
The manager and the team were so attentive. When we experienced tech issues they helped us through everything. I’ll definitely come back for the food, but I look forward to coming here even more because of the service.
Thanks for taking care of us and making our bellies full. I’m going to waddle home now and go into...
