Perhpas not unlike many other men, I HATE (words chosen carefully) shopping for clothes. In fact, the busier my life becomes and the more responsibilites I assume, the more I LOATHE the entire shopping experience. Why? Becuase I am wholly ignorant regarding fashion - actually, that is a bit overstated...I know what looks good, but I do not know how to choose it on me - AND becuase your typical 'box store" rarely employs experts who can take the time to offer the personal counseling required to design a wardrobe. In times gone by men would go to a trusted family hberdashery or more recently a "mans' shop" where higher-end fashion was offered along with a personal shopping experience by a PROFESSIONAL who would be around long enough guide you through multiple seasons of your life (employee, junior execuive, executive). Alas, this is what I found at "The Man's Shop By Wally Hardin". I was personally consulted by and befrended by Austin, a sharp-dressed, very friendly, professional who loves mens fashion and who has an eye to put together looks for any occasion. I also spent a lot of time with Wally who is one part business professional and one part "a guys guy" who would be just as comfrtable on a track in his porche as fitting a customer into a great suir. Comfortable envirment? Check. Great clthing selection for any occasion? Check. Staffed by MEN who know what they are doing and enjoy their profession? Check? Bourbon to calm the nerves? Check. The money I spent was equal to the professionalim I was offered and the quality clothing which I now own. I cannot more highly recommend "The Man's Shop"...I only which they had an attached cigar lounge and a jazz band - I might...

I consider Austin my personal stylist at this point. This establishment makes you appreciate what being a true gentleman is all about. You are welcomed by name. You can choose to have a beverage of your choice as you shop. The staff are very knowledgeable about their craft and industry. They will bend over backward to figure out what works best for you and your overall goal. Customer service is second to none. I’ve been going to this shop since 2004. They have made every custom suit I own and at least 75% of my extended daily wear wardrobe. Wally, Mark and Austin never cease to amaze. From my first visit to this unique store 30+ years ago through my most recent visit, I have been treated like a good friend and a special customer. I am certain that The Man's Shop has many, many more customers that are far more loyal and regular than me (and how could they not with their service and high-quality offerings), but I never sense that. Mark has taken great care of my business and casual clothing needs for a very long time, and Wally is always there to lend his helpful suggestions and experience.
