Trudy's Hallmark Shop — Local services in Arlington

I visited this store because I wanted something unique for my daughters birthday, from the moment I walked in is not welcomed by the two ladies behind the register. After a very short time I figured out the only thing that got there attention is when I walked past the registers and Proceeded shopping. I was followed around the store by the older lady, as I looked at birthday cards I had a creepy feeling that I was being watched. Sure enough she was at the end of the isle, it almost felt like she was reading the cards over my shoulder. When caught her staring at me for over 5 minutes I finally looked at her and she said can I help you, I replied no can I help you, I feel like you’ve been following me around since I’ve been here. First off, To be clear I gave them 1 star because they have some decent item's but the women who work there followed me around the store, everywhere! Hiding behind stuff, all I was trying to do was buy a gift for my wife's birthday. The store was a mess, they look down on you and act as if they are better than you, they did not greet or welcome me at all. This was by far the worst shopping experience I have EVER had in my life! Also, I was shopping at Safeway today and I watch them harasse some poor girl. Yelling at her! For no reason, It was crazy. I would never recommend that HORRIBLE so called place of business...

It may be a corporate policy but it still upset me. Im from out of town, here for an early Christmas with my Grandbabies. I wanted a “granddaughter” and “grandson” ornament. There were none in boxes but 1 of each in the display. I asked if I could buy them, even without boxes. I was told because other stores in neighboring towns had them in boxes I couldn’t buy these.
