Amazed and not in a good way. We have been to this location a few times but on 2/22/25 we decided to go to dinner here as my son was home from college. For two people, we waited 1 hour and 45 minutes, so the restaurant was filled to capacity. The host was aloof and did not seem to care if we were there or not...which I've noticed is pretty typical of this restaurant.
When our name was called, there was so much confusion on where we should actually go or stand and the hosts in the booth just stood and watched...not trying to help at all. We were seated in a booth for four people in the corner of the main aisle with the most traffic. We placed our order and received our food and as we were just starting to eat, a young girl was walking down the main aisle throwing up every few feet. The adults with her kept her moving down the aisle and out of the restaurant. Some of the vomit was near my son's feet. Within a few minutes, an employee stood over this vomit and was searching for gloves. The first employee was literally yelling saying "you're going to have to deal with this" to another employee. Then another employee came out with some dry towels. Once the first employee found gloves, she began wiping up the vomit with the dry towels. No cleaning agent was used. No mop. No water. Nothing to actually CLEAN this up. They then tossed the towels into a plastic bag and left. I couldn't believe there was NO attempt to actually clean these spots and people were literally walking through the area within seconds of this happening. The staff did not block off the area and did not communicate to us at all...even though we were seated right next to this area. The people at the table across from us had not received their food and left immediately after seeing this.
Our server did not acknowledge the incident or ask if we needed anything until after I used the table kiosk to pay. I wanted to wrap the food and get out of the space so she provided boxes. She thanked us but never acknowledged the incident.
I don't think I can ever eat at this establishment again. If this is how they clean up a mess in the highest area of traffic, I can only imagine how disgusting it is in other areas of this restaurant.
Needless to say, I'd like to save anyone from the same experience. So many people are spending their hard earned money at this restaurant and wait for long periods of time just to eat here. I think customers deserve to feel good about the cleanliness of a restaurant. We are paying for those services along with the food. When accidents like this occur, the way they are managed can make a huge difference. A little communication goes a long way, and I would highly suggest training on how to...
Read moreWe put our names down for the wait list and it said 15-25 min wait. We ended up waiting 35 mins, which was fine. But then we sat at our table waiting for someone to come and just bring us water for 10 mins, by the time the girl showed up we just wanted to order because we had now been waiting 20 mins past what we anticipated, and were very hungry. We placed our order and waited 15-20 mins for food to come. At this point it’s been a full hour past when we started this whole ordeal to eat at Texas Roadhouse… with two kids. Our ribs were DRY and BURNT. There was massive long strip of meat on top that was just one piece and all dry. Couldn’t even pull it apart to eat, it tasted terrible. But again, we were very hungry by this point and just ate around those pieces especially since waiting for the waitress to complain wouldve taken far too long. And by the time we would’ve said something, and had something new brought out wouldn’t have been worth our time. We had two toddlers with us and just wanted to be done and get home. The waitress was fine. Nothing spectacular and definitely not attentive. We will not be back, we’ve given this location multiple times and this was the last time we will eat here. The food was terrible and it ended up making my son sick and he is not having bathroom problems from his food. Just bad overall....
Read moreThis was an awesome visit. I invited two friends to be my guests for dinner. We called ahead for a booth, and we got in shortly after we arrived at 4:45 pm. Everything was absolutely delicious! And, our waiter, Jeremy, was a super star! He did everything perfectly! If there is anything that confused me, it was the meat that I got. I ordered a 12 ounce strip sirloin, and my ordered the same thing. When they came, they did not look anything alike. I noticed this right away, and ask the person who brought the meat to out table about this. The delivery person had no idea what was going on! And, if I was with different people, I would have made an issue out of it, but, my friends got good food and they were a little pressed for time, so I let it slide, but left me with a negative impression, which should not be the case at a place that otherwise was very good! Whatever I got was good, but was not the same as my friend who ordered the same as me, and cooked the same, etc... Question is, is it a good place to eat? Yes. Can there be problems? Apparently so. Should I have addressed the issue with my waiter? Maybe, but my waiter was not the person that delivered the food, and was not quicky available to take care of the issue! If I go back, I will mention this to the waiter, to get to be on guard against this...
