I met Leo for the first time this week and spent some time looking around in his store. Healthy fish, great selection, and most of all, he knew quite a bit about every fish there. It’s hard to find a fish store who actually cares about the animals they keep. He wasn’t trying to sell me a anything, but was more so trying to give me the information I needed to make a purchasing decision. All of his tanks were very large and not overstocked. I ended up staying and chatting for a while and walked out with two flash plecos for a great price. They are thriving and are very healthy. I am looking forward to going back soon! I got live sand from this store, after putting it in my tank I realize the live sand is dirty as a mud, I can see mud on top of the live sand that I purchased, I can only imagine what kind of bacteria is awaiting for me after purchasing from this store.

In addition the salt water that I purchased is not good salt water, this is not my first time reefing usually when I buy salt water I can see planktons all over, but with the water I bought from this guy there is absolutely none that I can see.

I visited Atlantic Tropical Aquarium recently and had a pleasant experience with the owner. He was extremely nice and helpful, going out of his way to assist me despite not having the specific fish I was looking for in stock. He took down my number and assured me that he would contact me if he ever got them in.
