It's been years since we last dined here, and we recently celebrated a family birthday. This is one of the few local places (without traveling far) that serve chicken feet, a favorite of the celebrant. That was one reason we decided to give it another try. We dropped in for a weekday lunch with no wait and plenty of tables available. Service was attentive, although a bit overwhelming, as expected. Once seated, you're swarmed with servers pushing carts and plates, asking if you'd like to take their items, with little chance to even glance at a menu or request drink orders. We had to slow down and get a menu to order items not available on the carts. Plenty of "no, thank you" were spoken during our lunch. Since lunch wasn't too busy, many staff members were standing around, hoping to sell more items. Overall, the experience this time was okay, and it was a little rushed. The chicken feet were good, but most of the dim sum items were bland, although they were warm. We ordered the House Special Lo Mein, enough for a party of five or more, and it was hot and decent. Most items didn't exceed expectations. I've had better dim sum in other places. When you are done with your meal, they still ask if you would like to order more for takeout before bringing the check. They aren't shy at all about getting you to buy more. On the plus side, this place can accommodate large parties, and the food may taste better when there are more patrons, as it doesn't sit in the carts for too long. I really wanted to like this place more, as dim sum is a family favorite, but it fell short this time. Additionally, there is ample parking available in the private lot, which has tight spaces.

This is my go-to place to get dim sum because of the variety of dishes and drinks you can get (there must be at least 30 different kinds). The four items I have to get are the honey walnut shrimp, tripe, custard tarts, and coconut water with pieces of coconut in it. Some other notable items are the fried calamari, and fried crab claw wrapped in shrimp, and the rice wrapped in lotus leaf. Surprisingly, the har gow and Shiu Mai are just average considering the other stuff is pretty good. Pro Tip: be prepared to get swarmed by ladies offering various dishes within minutes of sitting down.

Been there twice for DimSum on Sunday, it wasn't a long wait till we sat down and people start coming in. The dim sum choice is pretty much the same like others, taste was good not great. Yes, some of the serves could put some smiling face will help to promote the food. Overall is not bad, still need some improvement.

Since the other dim sum was temporarily closed I thought we would try another dim sum restaurant in Cerritos. We pulled into the plaza where the restaurant is located and there were a lot of cars in the lot. So we decided to try this restaurant. Boy was it a mistake. We ordered poached Chinese broccoli with oyster sauce. It didn't come on a plate, instead it was served in a bowl. 1st indication that this restaurant may not be what we expected. Since it's rated a 4 ⭐ restaurant. Nothing was like what we're use to. It's the worst dim sum I've had before. I've had a lot. Don't go, unless you're looking for bad dim sum. Sorry, for my...

It was clear that the dim sum not made fresh. Food was cold and heavy with old oil. I've eaten chicken feet since I was young .. I've NEVER seen chicken feet that was yellow on the inside!

The servers were so pushy! We had just sat down and a cart came up and she just started unloading plate after plate on our table... We didn't ask for any of it!

Carpet was so dirty.... Path to the restroom was filthy oily black like a purposeful runner was placed over the carpet. Restroom was pretty dirty too. Will never go there again!

Update: my whole family and I have stomach issues from...
