My boyfriend and I recently had the pleasure of doing a Taste the City tour in Asbury, and it was absolutely amazing. What was supposed to be a larger group ended up turning into a private tour for just the two of us, which made the experience even more intimate and special.

Our tour guide, Brianna, was incredible. She was extremely knowledgeable about the city and its food scene, but beyond that, she was so personable and sweet. From the start, she made us feel completely comfortable, making the tour feel less like a structured event and more like a fun, relaxed outing with a friend.

Her enthusiasm and expertise really elevated the experience. She shared interesting insights, gave great recommendations, and her energy was infectious. Every stop along the way was carefully curated, and we got to try some fantastic food while learning more about the area’s history and culture.

I first contacted Taste of Asbury in August 2018 about setting up a Fall fundraising event for the One Catalyst Foundation. Over the next several months I worked closely with Bonnie who promptly answered every question I asked and provided guidance and recommendations as we customized a food tour for a large group.

On the day of the event, Bonnie and her team handled the 75+ participants with ease. Not only did our attendees enjoy the 5 stops along the tour, but they praised the tour guides who accompanied each group as friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging. Booked the Sip N Stroll tour with my wife for a damp April Saturday, but the on and off rain certainly didn’t dampen our experience. We met our guide - Ashley - in the agreed spot next to the Festhalle. Turned out that we were the only people on the tour, so it was a very personal event. Ashley was great she was super friendly and we hit it off with her immediately. The tour was perfect, taking a short trip around the Cookman Avenue area of town and visiting some interesting establishments that we certainly would never have tried out on our own. Bring a big appetite and a bag for your leftovers because you will need it.
