The Home Depot — Local services in Ashtabula

By far the nicest HD I've ever been too. They seem to hire nice people that go out of their way to help. The HD in Painseville could learn many things from this store.

If I am to "shop" I really need to use the handicapped carts they offer. They actually work at Ashtabula and they are in service. So I don't tear my knees more than they are, and I can shop a long time.

Price and selective is like most stores, Let's face it, it is a very competitive market and everyone price matches so for me, it comes to customer service. I will break CS into 2 categories. First is knowledge, Bula people are very knowledgeable, and don't blow smoke up your arse if they don't know something. 4.5 stars. Second, willingness to help. "It's tough to find good people", we've all heard this one, well,, it's because the bula store has them all. 5++ stars for friendly people PROACTIVELY willing to help you. GASP.

Kudo's to the BULA HD management for great hiring. That's hard for me to do, as I'm a retired union president lol But good is good, and they are one heck of a nice store to shop...

I've been going to store number 3838 for about 15 years. Andy Nash hasn't been an employee there all that long. He has certainly halped out with making the store a better place to shop for all my DYI projects. He's never been rude nor disrespectful to anyone. Always extremely knowledgeable and quick minded with finding my materials even when its not the area he works in. I do highly recommend he recieves better compensation for all his efforts to all your patrons. I am a business owner myself and have been for 30 plus years. If I were Home Depot management I'd boost his hourly wage about .50 cents to a 1.00 more per hour. He earns that and more. Thank you for taking the time to read my comments. Happy...

I went there for work to look for wall cabinets I couldn't find what I wanted on the internet looking for inside dimensions. Customer service was very helpful to get someone to help. He actually took the time to help me find the right cabinets that I needed printed the paper out so that I may order them for work .😅 I went to Lowe's my go to place and Customer service asked if I went to look at them, I told her I needed some assistance so I can get some inside dimensions. So she called for a assistant to meet me by the cabinets. I told her I'm looking for 12 1/2 in. Deep she showed me floor cabinets ! No I said wall, she said that I guess they don't make that size.
