Today I stopped in at D&M to ask if they could repair a Brighton necklace for me... nothing expensive, but one I wear often. It needed a new jump ring. They repaired it on the spot... at no charge! Even though I hadn't planned to look for a wrap for my wedding ring today, I asked if they had some I could try while waiting for the necklace. As I was trying some, I noticed that my diamond was dirty and actually said so out loud. They promptly offered to check the stones and clean it. Very nice! As I was waiting for my ring, I picked up a jar of jewelry cleaner, planning to purchase it. The sales associate asked me if I needed a jar and gave it to me... again free of charge. I took my sister's watch to a place that was recommended by a jewler on the East side of G Bay..... Well.... that guy tried to force the pin out of the band vs unscrewing it. Then wanted to charge above and beyond, bent the pin and also didn't replace the battery.
I searched the internet and found D & M - so I brought it in to them.....
WORDS CANNOT EXPRESS MY PLEASURE WITH THEM. They were not only accomodating but replaced the battery and also fixed the pin for the band while I waited.
I'm so pleased with them that they have a return customer for sure in my book.
