WARNING: Bought a jacket as a birthday gift for my husband from shop owner Lynn over the phone after visiting the physical location and he tried it on- I was sold a jacket for $62, plus $18 for shipping, coming to a total of $80. I received the jacket and saw that it only cost $7.80 to ship although I was charged over double that. Also, there were 3 very prominent stains on the jacket that were not disclosed by Lynn before my purchase, and then the jacket didn't even fit my husband after i gave it to him on his birthday. Upon calmly calling the shop and trying to discuss exchange or return possibilities, Lynn was extremely rude and combative, and claiming she didn't do returns and "this is why she didn't sell things online". My main problem is that I was deceived overall- in the product description, in the shop policies, and in the trust I placed in Lynn and local businesses. I figured that buying local would allow me to spend my money at businesses that directly benefitted real people and local oregon economies, but Lynn was deceitful and rude, which led to an absolute waste of my money and no birthday gift for my husband. I would be more understanding if Lynn had notified me that she doesn't normally doesn't sell things outside of her physical shop in astoria and that she had a zero return policy before I made the purchase. It's not even posted on her website or Facebook. It was entirely just a ripoff and deeply damaged my faith in small businesses. :( please do not buy from this shop because Lynn obviously does not care about her customers and only about the profit. Look down below to see her replies to see that she canât take any amount of criticism, whether it be on pricing, the clutter in her store, or how she handles transactions. She even admitted to wage theft and downplayed it by acting like it being years ago makes it any less worse. Never seen a store owner straight up call people names even when they politely wrote grievances. Maybe this is why you have 3 stars and your clothing sits. And if you feel the need to reply, I will reply to you.
In response to the owner, I noticed you didn't go off on me the way you do with other customers, maybe cause you know I shopped in your stinky, overcluttered store and need customers due to that low two-star rating? That has since dropped one star in 7 months. Gosh, that's bad for a business. Regardless, you are proving my point by replying, not just that, but lying.

Unfortunately I saw many vintage items that had been damaged/were getting damaged due to improper storage or hangers literally tearing into them. I found it to be dirty and the clothes didn't seem like they had been cleaned recently or perhaps at all which is worrying since they're vintage and therefor used. It was almost impossible to look at the selection because the racks were so impossibly full and there was little room inbetween racks and no clear pathway. The owner had failed to mark the price on a large amount of goods and would then throw you a high price that didn't line up with the care or quality of the pieces. I also noticed that there were hangers with more then one item on them almost as if to say they were sold together but later I would hear the owner say that wasn't the case to another customer which seem a little deceptive.
