No in and out with Bernard. He gives each client the time needed for a flawless look. He is like a hair doctor, I promise you he will get your hair back healthy if it's damaged. Highlights are his specialty and percission cutting. Bernard has being doing my hair for over 30 years. I've left a few times to try a new stylist but, I always come back. No plug in curling irons, no box perms and advanced salon grade color. Our hair is the most important thing we wear. I wouldn’t trust this man and his assistant to water my plants. If you are a black woman with type 4+ hair stay away from this establishment. It’s been 14 months and I’m still recovering from the heat damage and trauma that he did. As someone known to have healthy thick hair I left with fried hair that was straight in certain areas once I washed it. I wouldn’t be surprised if he responded trying to shift the blame or just in a nasty way overall. Especially with the colorist comments that he made about wanting to “loosen my curls” despite the fact that I came for a blowout and trim. Black women with type 4 please stay away.
